That's the one song I was going to post. Glad you beat me to it. Doesn't that just say it all? I've been to that garden tomb in Jerusalem. It's not far from Calvary. Guess what? It's empty, and has been empty for over 2000 years. That empty tomb proves my Saviour lives! I was so inspired that upon emerging from the tomb, I wanted to shout to the nations, "HE'S ALIVE, AND WE'RE FORGIVEN; HEAVENS GATES ARE OPENED WIDE!!" I guess I'll just shout over the Internet. Praise the everliving God!!!!

Christos Anesti...Alithos Anesti. (Greek)
Christ is Risen...Truly He is risen
If you go here
http://www.geocities.com/day8th/english/download.htm
you can click on the left hand side 4th one down where it says Christos Anestsi and listen to the sublime sounds of the hymn. I wish I knew how to embed it here.

It is good that we agree on that one thing. My Rector explained why he was sure Christ was resurrected. He said because he did not have faith in the Apostle's faith to get the job done. With out the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we would not know he is risen and we would not be saved.

It's good, and it's also essential. Whoever does not believe in the Resurrection, ipso facto, is not one of us.
This is the time of year we have the most important thing to hold on to. I am not kidding when I say that I am really joyous over the Resurrection. I don't remember being this much affected by this Holy Day in the past. Our choir was pretty good this year, and the faithful were all intelligent and positive. The women were beautiful, some of them in lovely Easter hats. My own daughter, 17, came home saying she wishes she had lived in the 1920's when people were civilized and unspoiled by TV and technology.
We are really blessed to live in this time. We should remember these days for the future, because we might not have our Mass for much longer.
