I have come to believe that IF it is God's will for Terri to live, then God will perform the miracle (action) required to re-connect the feeding tube. I pray that the people involved and responsible will be attuned to God's will.

Not to be a contrarian, but I've known any number of devout people who claim that they aren't worried about anything, because when it's "there time," the Lord will take them.

Usually I don't say anything to this, because it's rude to try to knock down people's beliefs. But on a couple of occasions, I've replied by inviting the individual in question to climb up to the top of the nearest building and jump off. The idea being, of course, that if it's not "their time," they'll just bounce a couple of times and get up smiling.

We are born into this world free, and subject to the limitations of nature. The Almighty does not manipulate the cosmos on a series of strings. If he did, life would be completely pointless.

Very well stated.

Jesus was here to teach us how God thought/felt about humanity. Jesus, wept when Lazarus died and wept when predicting the destruction of Jerusalem.

Oh, my, I certainly agree with you.

What did I say that made you think otherwise?

God changes men's hearts; not natural laws.
