Gov. Bush Cancels Appearance at Good Friday Service for Fear of Facing Schiavo Supporters To: National Desk Contact: Rev. Patrick Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition, 202-547-1735, 540-538-4741 cell TALLAHASSEE, Fl., March 25 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Governor Jeb Bush was scheduled to attend and participate in an outdoor Good Friday service at 12:30 pm, at Florida State University. According to event organizers, the Governor canceled at the last minute. As part of this event Jeb Bush would have publicly read from a printed program that includes the following text entitled the Fifth Station of the Cross; "Lord Jesus, sometimes I don't want to do what is right or to help someone in need, but you want me to respond positively to the needs of others in my life. Help me to say 'yes' and be willing to give heroic assistance to all who are in need." "It is clear that Governor Bush canceled his scheduled participation in this Stations of the Cross service out of fear and guilt of seeing supporters of Terri Schiavo pleading for her life. Our prayer for Governor Bush is the same prayer he would have prayed publicly on this Good Friday, had he kept his scheduled appointment. |

'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

Why Jeb Bush has the power to act now

Regarding the pic: Satan better be on guard, because Mikey has forbidden Terri's use of a wheelchair !!!
"Missing from this is why he doesn't?"

What Greer is doing and all the courts have ignored is denying her the opportunity to have food or water by mouth. That is euthanasia and is not permitted under Florida law. Whether she could take water or not is immaterial and in any case we don't know what would happen, at least it would give her a chance and she has none right now. On this order at least the Shindler's have the law on their side -- giving water by mouth is not in any shape, fashion or form artificial life support as mentioned in the Florida statute. Any outcome of a trial of drinking, even death by choking, is preferable to what is going on now.
What I cannot figure out is why Jeb Bush and her parents are so focused on getting the feeding tube back in when it is clear that this will not happen when this other clearly illegal order by Greer is alpparently going unchallenged.
If she were to choke to death from water, they would be liable probably. Plus causing mass hysteria.
Ouch! I hope the gov sleeps well tonight.
Judge Death ordered that no one may attempt to feed or give hydration to Terri orally. They will be arrested if they try. Welcome to George Felos' brave new world. I believe the whole world is watching this horrific act and the U.S. is going to look like a bunch of ghoulish fools. Even those countries that practice various forms of euthanasia, they can't imagine being this cruel, starving & dehydrating a perfectly healthy woman to death. I can't imagine it, either.

In the past Terri has sucked fluids from a baby bottle !!!
I think he probably cancelled so the others could have their service in peace.
It's better to find out what Jeb is made ofnow, so we can look for a stronger candidate for president later.
If he had any thoughts of running in '08, Jeb can FORGET IT!
I can't tell you how much I miss The Great Ronald Reagan right now. He would not have tolerated any of this.
I probably watched too many "westerns" on TV when I was a kid. Almost all of them had the good guy(s) ride into town and take on the town bully. The good guy always saved the day and rescued whoever needed help. Where is John Wayne when you need him...or Zorro?
This article is pure supposition, and i'm disgusted that anyone would put it on FR. I will NOT reply to any comments on this thread.
We need a hero!
The right always, always takes this bait. Don't be stupid!
