I hope this shows that Jeb was serious. He only backed off to avert a state of FL civil war. Those who think Jeb was not going to act are wrong, he only backed off to avert a major firefight over Terri. I know some would still want that, but I think Jeb made the right call in the end.

You didn't see the sheriff. The woman, not lady, thinks she is John Wayne, and likely carries at least 3 pistols. She acts tough, but I believe she is just plain stupid. She reminds me of someone who if commanded would take out her pistol and shoot herself. I was raised in the South around red-neck sheriffs and police chiefs. Bull Connor was one. This woman is a red neck, but not anywhere near as smart as Bull.
