A constitutional crisis can't result from everyone obeying the law. That's called, uh, the way the system is supposed to work. Everyone being happy isn't a prerequisite.
Then if the courts say that your wife shoud die, whether she's truly brain dead or not, we'll just conveniently let them have her. Right? Nice thinkin there...
Murder is murder, no matter how many government officials sign on to it.
Is murder right or wrong? Perhaps that's a constituional question you can grasp.
