I agree, that Gov. doesn't have blood on his hands, M. Schiavo does. Though I don't agree that had he stepped in it would have caused a Constitutional Crisis as some say, that IMO is an exaggeration.
I had hoped J. Bush would have saved Terri, even if he had to step on Greer, I would support that, if the Judiciary is out of hand then I can think of no better time than this to confront it. It would have been worth it. We can't know how it would finally end for Terri, because that didn't happen.
With that said, I don't think J. Bush has blood on his hands, he tried to help, he can be commended for at least that, maybe a braver man would have made the leap down the road less traveled and struck a blow for putting a halt to runaway judges acting like gods to save this woman. But you can't fault a man for reaching his own limits, we don't walk in his shoes, if he lacked that rare courage to defy Greer and save Terri then that should be understandable not contemptible. He did his best, a good man, and should still command respect for what he has done and not disrespect for something so many could never do themselves, but we can pray the next man can do a little better.

But I have to admit that I find it troubling that a County Probate Judge can tell the Gov of Fl., Congress and even the President of the US to basically go shove it

(Why can't the public see Terri - What are they afraid of ??)

even if he had to step on GreerNot just Greer, there were scores of judges that affirmed Terri Schiavo's execution, including the Supreme Court of the United States.
It makes it a bit more understandable how the Jews of Jerusalem, living under cruel Roman occupation and authoriy, were unable to stop the execution of Jesus.

Though I don't agree that had he stepped in it would have caused a Constitutional Crisis as some say, that IMO is an exaggeration. We are ALREADY in the middle of a Constitutional crisis. Jeb did nothing to rectify it. He handed over the legitimate power of the executive branch to a runaway judiciary. He forked it over on a silver platter. This is going to reverberate onto the Federal scene.
Jeb has no character or guts. He violated his oath of office by not defending the Constitution. He has no moral right to continue as Governor.
When the truth about corruption within Florida hits the fan, he'll be disgraced, because he permitted the evidence (Terri) to be destroyed. And that's exactly what he deserves.
It's easy to "press flesh" and dance at an Inaugural Ball, but where the rubber hits the road is in his living out the Oath of Office that he *swore* to God.
