The Florida Supreme Court just denied Terri a stay of execution.
But, of course.
Not surprised at all...at least they didn't wait until tomorrow morning...
No court, not one, not ever, has ruled for the Schindler's or Terri's life. It all started with Greer deciding what the "facts" would be. Only action by legislatures and/or executives, backed by determination and adequate force, or a law enforcement investigation and arrest of Greer for criminality, could possibly have freed Terri and her family from this fate. These entitities came with too little, too late to the fray, but in truth of intent, deliberate acts, will, etc. Terri was murdered by all of the judges that ruled to uphold Greer in this case. Those who refused to adjudicate a new trial after the new law was passed cannot blame it off on bad lawyering for the Schiavos. That is an excuse. They knew the intent was to give them a new trial, and they refused.
