Oh Amen Gramma, I came onto this thread last night, after all the other threads left me in tears and feeling hopeless. Here is where I found peace and understanding. I desire NO man's death, even those who are so intent on murdering an innocent woman. I don't cheer on anyone who would advocate harming ANYONE. My heart aches with the tragedy we are watching. I don't understand why so many people think it is perfectly fine that Terri is being tortured to death. I just don't understand it. To all who were here earlier in the day, and who were here last night, thank you. You helped me more than you can know.

I think right now would be a good time to pray for Judge Greer that his heart and mind would be opened to Jesus's will for Terri. If it is true that he is a Christian, than we should pray for Jesus to reveal himself to him. We need to do it right now, I am feeling that this time is most important. Let 2 or 3 of us gather together and pray for Judge Greer now.
that's how I feel here too! that's why I'm so adamant about keeping this place pure.. especially during prayer time.. it's a place where we can calm down and take comfort from the Lord and each other despite the horror we are seeing.
Father God, as we come to the close of another day, we again acknowledge that You are Sovereign and that You are the only true and just Judge. We have many questions in our hearts tonight, Lord. Questions about our leaders and what they could have done and what they may still be able to do on Terri's behalf.
And yet we acknowledge Lord that we also fail in so many ways. We have all put our hearts and souls into wanting Terri to live, and if I know anything at all about President Bush and Governor Bush I know that they too have agonized over what is being done to Terri and they desire for her to live. Bless them for their efforts, and Lord, if there is still something more for them or any of us to do, I pray that they will see that and will have the courage to act. Remove any confusion from their minds, Lord, and from their advisers. Bless all who have been working and praying tirelessly on Terri's behalf.
We also ask for a change of heart in George Greer, and Micahel Schiavo. You are their Creator also, Lord, and You are able to soften their hearts if they are at all willing.
We also pray for peace and comfort for Terri's family and friends. May they be able to have a supernatural rest tonight and rise refreshed tomorrow to a new day. I pray Lord that good news will await them. And if not, I pray for your abundant grace.
And lastly Lord, but certainly not least, we pray for our dear and precious sister Terri. Cradle her in Your arms tonight. Comfort her. Give her Your nourishment Lord. Preserve her life if that is Your will. And if it is Your time for her to come Home to be with You, we pray that her Home-going will be peaceful and joyous, for we know that You are walking with her through this shadow of the valley of death and will welcome her Home with open arms.
We still would love a miracle, Lord, that would raise her up. We have no one else to look to, but to You. We place all this in Your hands, and we trust You completely. In the Name and blood of Jesus I ask all this, Amen.
Welcome.

I love coming to this thread, too. :)
