DCF had 700 pages of proof that Terri was being abused four long years ago. The investigator acknowledged that at the time, and that the information was very credible...that is until higher-ups quashed the whole thing.

They are culpable.

seems as though greer grandfathered her in

She should have been factored out, but she wasn't. This diabolical plot has been in the making for a long time. I don't have the reference, but the attorney from hell shopped for just the right Judge before making his move.

The Right to Life

National Review Online ^ | March 24, 2005 | William J. Bennett and Brian T. Kennedy

The "auxiliary precautions" of Florida government — in this case the Florida supreme court — have failed Terri Schiavo. It is time, therefore, for Governor Bush to execute the law and protect her rights, and, in turn, he should take responsibility for his actions. Using the state police powers, Governor Bush can order the feeding tube reinserted. His defense will be that he and a majority of the Florida legislature believe the Florida Constitution requires nothing less...

In taking these extraordinary steps to save an innocent life, Governor Bush should be judged not by the opinion of the Florida supreme court, a co-equal branch of the Florida government, but by the opinions of his political superiors, the people of Florida. If they disagree with their governor, they are indeed free to act through their elected representatives and impeach him. Or they can vindicate him if they think he is right. But he should not be cowed into inaction — he should not allow an innocent woman to be starved to death — because of an opinion of a court he believes to be wrong and unconstitutional...

Governor Bush pledged to uphold the Florida constitution as he understands it, not as it is understood by some Florida judges. He is the rightful representative of the people of Florida and he is the chief executive, in whom the power is vested to execute the law and protect the rights of citizens. He should use that power to protect Terri's natural right to live, and he should do so now.

***ACTION to be taken:

Ask Governor Bush to act now and save Terri, and protect her right to life under the Florida Constitution.

Yes. I have listened for a week now, as the talking heads say that it is "understandable" that Terri's parents will not accept her as brain dead.

I ask, why is it understandable? Because they love her so much that they WANT her to be alive?

What does that say about Mike? Says he doesn't really love her so much, doesn't it?!

Says that Mike actually has his own interests in mind, not Terri's.

Bacall said: "Jeb and his minions are calling us "emotional," like WE have a problem. Like that's going to stop us!"

If we were not emotional something would be seriously wrong with our souls.

Please correct me if I am wrong but it seems that no other than Feces was responsible for getting it passed in Florida along with Sen King (R)

He's not credited in the Senate that I can find. The Bills with the "S" in front are the Senate Bills.

Make haste, O God, to deliver Terri!

Make haste to help her, O LORD!

Let them be ashamed and confounded

Who seek her life;

Let them be turned back[a] and confused

Who desire her hurt.

Let them be turned back because of their shame,

Who say, "Aha, aha!"

Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;

And let those who love Your salvation say continually,

"Let God be magnified!"

But Terri is poor and needy;

Make haste to her, O God!

You are her help and her deliverer;

O LORD, do not delay.

why bother with people that just don't get it and never will?

It's not for him. It's for those who see an incorrect opinion on the sanctity of life who may be reading and not posting.

I guess we all see what we want to see....

Fortunately, Jeb has a shirt to cover that yellow streak.

Does Jeb seem like a coward?

He does to me.

Okay, today, I have found to possible legal basis for putting Terri's tube back in, until they are investigated.

1. It was against the law to pull feeding tubes, when Terri collapsed. So, she could not have possibly ever said that she "wished" to have her feeding tube removed.

2. Judge Greer is a PROBATE judge, and he has no jurisdiction to judge this case. His ruling should be vacated and they should start over.

One thing I have noticed is how the media somehow cannot understand how a mother like Mary Schindler(sp) can fight so hard for her daughter.
Many things are being attacked ,the right to life, Christianity, etc.
I also see this as an attack of motherhood!.

I like Mary, will fight for my babies, tooth & nail, regardless of what kind of physical condition they are in.
Why do some folks in this world find this so hard to believe?

The culture of death is growing. I'm listening to the radio right now and they tell of a thrift store that recieves donations Friday recieved a cardboard box with a dead newborn baby lying face down in it.

OH that is just HORRIBLE!!!!! .......

By the way, we worked hard and long on the 2004 campaign. I have a cousin who has been a Senator in California up until recently.( Dick Mountjoy) and another that is a assemblyman right now,( Dennis Mountjoy!).......both extremely conservative Republicans. We have been long time, life time Republicans.

HOWEVER, I, along with my husband, will probably now be pulling out of the Republican party and joining up with a party that honors God and our Constitution. We are looking into the Constitution Party.

By the way, Welcome to Free Republic.

Bush is looking like a coward right now. Again, I'm a lifelong conservative Republican and I WORK for the RNC. I'm just telling you all how I see it.

You bet he does. And he is going to be held accountable for it. I told him so.
