That's my understanding, too. That DCF can act, the judge might rule later. I realize he might then rule against them, but my feeling is that the important thing to do right now, regardless of what happens later, is get Terri rehydrated. Save her now, deal with what comes later. It seems like almost everyone in this sorry affair is waiting for her to die so that they don't have to act.

I want to be able to publicly apologize on THIS FORUM, a few days from now, that I was an absolute JERK for doubting our Conservative Leaders, for thinking that Governor Bush would
not send in State Troopers to rescue Terri, that in fact I was wrong, terribly wrong, and apologize to both Freepers and Governor Bush.
In the name of all that is decent and all that is humane! I really really hope I will be able to deliver that humiliating APOLOGY on FR in a few days.

It seems like almost everyone in this sorry affair is waiting for her to die so that they don't have to act. the problem is that if they get her out and re-hydrated - and then the courts rules against them again - which it could in 3-4 days - and then she is put BACK on starvation - what an escalation of barbarity that would be!
She has to be gotten out and KEPT out of their hands! That has to be guaranteed before they take her
