the important thing to do right now, regardless of what happens later, is get Terri rehydrated. Save her now, deal with what comes later. It seems like almost everyone in this sorry affair is waiting for her to die so that they don't have to act. the problem is that if they get her out and re-hydrated - and then the courts rules against them again - which it could in 3-4 days - and then she is put BACK on starvation - what an escalation of barbarity that would be!
She has to be gotten out and KEPT out of their hands! That has to be guaranteed before they take her

I get it! If the judge says no, Jeb appeals. Another automatic stay and another 3-hr window of opportunity to take Terri. Yes?

Me too...it's hard to ignore the fact that everything would be set right if Michael "disappeared."

Greer ruled against Terri an hour ago.
You guys gotta get around to other threads.

>>pleadings to Greer? Isn't he a Probate judge? Does he really have original jurisdiction over the new issue that DCF would be raising?
VERY GOOD POINT... DCF is investigating a CRIMINAL matter, and already has jurisdiction. PROBATE judge Greer is WAY out of line and thinks he is God. Greer is moot.
!!! GO FOR IT GOVERNOR !!!

If Jeb has to anything illegal then I don't condone it. And no one should encourage or support it.

People who use this tragedy as an excuse to bash a President who has taken unprecedented measures to stand for a culture of life disgust me.
A "stand" is when you take Airforce One to Florida, a limousine to Pinellas County, and a walk into Terri's room at the hospice. THAT would be a stand, not some paper pushing!

I have been reading your posts re: Terri's parents' lawyers. I have, from the get go, maintained that these folks have had poor legal counsel. Granted, the lawyers they have had have worked hard and probobly for little money. But, I don't believe they are/were adequate for the job.

She has to be gotten out and KEPT out of their hands! That has to be guaranteed before they take herI agree...this is my concern about the governor taking her into custody..this is back in the courts within four days of taking her into custody according to the law.

I cannot understand how this county judge thinks, and apparently is able to convince others, that somehow everyone else, including law enforcement agencies, and the Legislative and Executive branches of the federal government are subordinate to him? He doesn't have the authority to arrest the Governor or the President. News Flash to GREER: the JUDICIAL branch is separate but equal also, not above the other two branches. Where is the check and balance for a judge gone out of control?
If nothing else, Terri's martyrdom will be for the cause of shining a light on JUDGES and why we need to rein them in.

It's a meaningless "promise" (threat) since he isn't running for anything.

re: "secured" as a witness in the case?
She is already under a subpoena from the US Congress to appear as a witness and Judge Greer simply chose to ignore that fact. This man is out of control and so far no one has had the courage to stand up to him.

Florida Stat. Ann. 798.01 - Living in open adultery:
"Whoever lives in an open state of adultery shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison not exceeding two years, or in the county jail not exceeding one year, or by fine not exceeding five hundred dollars. Where either of the parties living in an open state of adultery is married, both parties so living shall be deemed to be guilty of the offense provided for in this section."
Adultery is a crime in Florida. Will someone with the right connections please use this as a point of attack on Michael Schiavo's guardianship? Anybody?

If it happened in whatever jurisdiction he is over...yes. And apparently Terri is in and ha been in that jurisdiction. That's just how I understand it.

>>When Randall Terry and Larry Klayman arrive on the scene to take up your defense, you may as well turn out the lights.<<<
I do agree with you on this point.
Someone should have taken the family aside and said "Get rid af them ASAP".
However, I do not think Randall Terry has been a factor in any of the courts rulings on this case.
