BREAKING NEWS Florida judge denies petition by the state and Gov. Jeb Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo. Details soon.

That's the only petition that was waiting for a ruling isn't it?

"6. LIMITATIONS. This section does not limit in any way the authority of the court or a criminal justice officer, or any other duly appointed official, to intervene in emergency circumstances under existing statutes. This section does not limit the authority of any person to file a petition for guardianship under chapter 744."

This final paragraph sounds like Jeb Bush's RESUME and job description for this week. He is the chief official of the state! As elected, he could probably appoint himself, who'd be able to stop him from doing so? Emergency appointment....or he could appoint a deputy.

Entire Code:

What Terri needed was a legal team that knew what they were doing in federal court and not having Randall Terry for the spokesman.

Why don't you open your eyes and ears to just how bad the pleading to the District Judge not to mention the appeals were from this legal team?

Put the blame on Judge Greer but you also need to blame this incompetent legal team that is there with Randall Terry. The Federal Courts had no choice but to rule like they did when they left things out of their petition and you are too arrogant or stupid to correct the pleadings.

I agree with your assessment of Jeb. He is doing everything by the book. Let's see what he has planned next.

Have Bush senior and/or Barbara bush said anything publically about this case? If not. Why not?

Ditto. Time again for me to harp on Article III. All inferior federal courts serve at the pleasure of Congress, which in turn serves at the pleasure of the American people. If it pleases the American people Congress can eliminate all inferior federal courts, including the federal court that ruled on the Schiavo case.

Article. III.

Section. 1. The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

cnn.com has a big breaking news across the top of their page that says that Gov Bush will be taking custody of her. Nothing past that at this time. Details coming soon

I saw the website, and interpreted the text differently. It is saying the judege DENIED the governor's request to take custody of her.

When Randall Terry and Larry Klayman arrive on the scene to take up your defense, you may as well turn out the lights.

That's funny, Although I know it prob is not true. I just stated that same thing to my husband. Greer is being paid off. I have no source for that.

Judge denies the State of Florida Dept. of Children and Families to take Terri into protective custody. What a surprise! Wow, Greer, you really shocked me this time. I thought for sure you'd rule in favor of the agency whose job it is to protect its vulerable citizens. Silly me.
