You post:

"Attaturk was not in charge or responsible for the Armenian genocide in WWI. He had sharp disagreements with the policies of the Young Turks. How many Armenians were killed during WWI and how many during Attaturk’s rule? "
________________________________________________________
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk led the assault against the Christians in Turkey and was responsible for his army sacking and burning Smyrna (Izmir) in 1922 and the slaughter of more than 100,000 Greeks and 30,000 Armenian civilians. (See Marjorie Housepian Dobkin's book Smyrna 1922: The Destruction of a City.)

You need to get over your nightmarish devotion to this despicable creature. I have visions of those Old Russians leaving candles on Stalin's grave and fools of all ethnicities wearing Che Guevara t-shirts. Surely, you can recover from personality cult worship?

Surely you can get over your hatred over the man who took Turkey away from Islamic fundamentalism.

Smyrna was a war. It was a retaking of the city of Izmir from Greece. The city was destroyed by fire.

If noting facts make me a cultist then ignoring them makes you a historian.
