Since it's now a matter of when she dies...not if...then civil or criminal proceedings need to be started against the #*&^% bunch. Name 'em all in the suit and bleed them dry.

This is not a surprise. Since the SCOTUS has refused to hear this case before, in earlier stages, it would be incredible if they took it on now.

The legal battle is now done, and things will take their course. There may be future cases come out of this whole thing, but that remains to be seen.

Gov. Bush and the DCF are Mrs. Schiavo's last hope. I pray that the Gov. was just waiting to see what the SCOTUS would do before he intervened. Gov. Bush is in an extemely difficult position, but this is why he was elected. I pray that God gives him the stength and courage to do what must be done.
