The House lawyers could not get involved. Everytime I have seen this team on TV, I have shuddered then Larry Klayman shows up. We have some really great minds at conservative law centers but yet they were not asked to come in and help. Right to Life and others get tons of donations, where were their lawyers?

I am not blaming the family because they had no means to go out and hire the best attorneys and I think Randall Terry sweet talked them, but what was wrong with the legal team itself not asking for help?

The politics of crisis. Do we know they didn't ask for help? It's really the client's responsiblity to accept what help is offered. I suspect that whoever was calling the shots (Terry?) was most responsible.

I was completely disheartened when I heard one of the lawyers last night on TV, pleading with Governor Bush to do something. Why didn't they spend their time getting the legal help they needed, rather than all the TV time?
