Mod note: Calls for violence will result in suspensions
Michael Schiavo has filed a petition with the Supreme Court asking them to stay out of the case.
Where is the CodeBlueBlog sources?
One more time: Here is a direct link. It's not all at the top either. There is significant posting below with links to discussion by other docs.
And that's the line where we decide to kill people? Wonderful!
Absolutely not. Unless the patient wishes not to live like that, which is what she made clear to her husband.
Where do I start with you.
First, in your definition of PVS, where does it state MRI, CT, or PET is needed? What part of the definition does Terri NOT fit?
Second, on codeblueblog. I did read it. No where does any doctor/physician ever cite sources.
What type of doctor was your father?
BTW, didn't MSU kick the snot out of Vermont last weekend?
What? Do I have to argue this with a doctor?
Her husband offers hearsay testimony, that is contradicted under oath by his girlfriend, of an off the cuff conversation they had after seeing a movie and he doesn't remember this until seven years after she collapses, five years after he stops rehab, therapy and hopes for infections to kill her. By his order.
On the other side the evidence that she wants to live: She has survived several infections left to run their course and expected to kill her. (Her husband testified that he expected her too) Then there's the fact that she smiles and laughs when her parents visit (witness it yourself) and trembles and curls up in a ball after her husband visits as testified in affadavits by three nurses. Eyewitness testimony.
My father was a good doctor. Other than that is not germane.
I could give a rat's a$$ about sports or VT. I'm from CO.
False, no requirement is needed to withhold treatment. I withhold treatments everyday. In fact today I did.
I see you also don't give a rats a$$ about individual rights either.
765.305 Procedure in absence of a living will.--
( (2) Before exercising the incompetent patient's right to forego treatment, the surrogate must be satisfied that:
(a) The patient does not have a reasonable medical probability of recovering capacity so that the right could be exercised by the patient. (not well established here)
(b) The patient has an end-stage condition, the patient is in a persistent vegetative state, or the patient's physical condition is terminal. (still a lot of questions on PVS)
You certainly posted that to the right person.
I clearly see voluntary action and an ability to communicate. The law calls for a complete absence of those things. I'm sure she's not entertaining enough for you though.
No where does any doctor/physician ever cite sources.
Sources of what? The scan came from the Micheal Schiavo side in support of their claim that she's PVS. You have just debunked it as a legitimate indicator. The MSM doesn't have a problem finding experts to hold it up and say "there's no cerebral cortex left at all." The docs on CodeBlueBlog can see it. I can see it. Can you see it, doc?
If you throw out the Schindler's doctors, and the doctors who didn't even spend an hour examining Terri, you end up with ZERO doctors.
On the other hand, there are many a number of nurses'/nurse's aides' statements which were documented even before 1999, which prove Terri wasn't PVS.
Why do you suppose a man who blabs about his wife's gynecoligical-exam difficulties on national television refuses to allow anything that might show his wife isn't PVS? I can tell you why, but it should be pretty obvious.
Was "the boy belongs with his father" an immigration issue, or a custody issue?
Well, they played the public with the parental rights bit while arguing the immigration issue in the Courts.
Why?
To garner the emotional support of those not quite paying attention.
Thus a completely unnecessary raid was dubbed "rescuing a kidnapping victim", when in fact, Elian was exactly where the Court had ordered that he be.
What did we see?
The legislative branch ignoring the judicial branch and moving ahead with its own self-serving agenda.
I don't want to ever see that again, even if it is my side doing it.
Thank you for the info, TigersEye. I first heard of codeblueblog yesterday and meant to go out and look but didn't get a chance. I will try to do that later today.
Unfortunately, it appears that it will be too late to save Terri (God grant her peace). The SOB's are going to win (temporarily) on this one. But, we MUST keep up the pressure, keep searching and digging for every scrap of info to show that Michael, George Felos and Judge Greer are all MURDERERS!!! If it can be corroborated, it sounds as though Codeblueblog will be a great help in making that case.
We, pajamahadeen, are going to have to continue this fight and lead the way to end judicial tyranny. Currently, in America, if you want to murder someone or take their property, all you have to do is buy . . . er, hire a lawyer and go shopping in court . . . . er, file auit in court to get what you want.
It makes me ill!!!!
Have a good day and pray for Terri.
Nope it is bad judiciary, but the blame goes to the SCOFLAws rather than Greer. They have conjured up unconstitutionality for the idea that the starvee would have to surmount a higher barrier than "clear and convincing evidence" of his wishes. Such as, having sworn to his wishes, or having spoken explicitly of starvation. It would take a constimatushional amendment to fix that, and then it would work only if SCOFLAws feel unusually cooperative.
So you'd rather save this one life and totally do away with our system of government?
That's very selfish of you.
