Clearwater, Florida - Judge George Greer admits there was an error in fact in the 2000 trial that established Terri Schiavo;s "right to die."When a family friend claimed a 19-year-old Terri was upset that right to die icon Karen Ann Quinlan's parents removed her from life support, the Judge discounted the testimony, reportedly because the Judge said Quinlan died in 1976.
Quinlan was taken off life support in 1976, but died in 1985. A technical error, yes. But Wednesday afternoon, Judge Greer ruled it was not enough to affect the outcome of the 2000 lawsuit that held Terri would not want to be kept alive with severe brain damage.

Greer should have recused himself long ago. It is now up to Jeb Bush to act, as he indicated at 3 PM today...and act quickly.
Uneffingbelieveable.
Greer can and should be charged with murder if he admits a mistake and does not reverse himself.
What did Jeb Bush say?
bttt
"It is now up to Jeb Bush to act, as he indicated at 3 PM today...and act quickly."
His "urgency" is quite visible......how much longer can she wait? Around 4pm central, I heard on Hannity's show that she had potentially "taken a turn for the worst".
So he deemed her testimony not credible because the dates did not jive. Not we learn that the dates did not jive. So Judge Greer, is she now credible and you ignore it, or is she not credible still, and if not why?
And the appeal courts didn't find anything wrong with Geers ruling
unbelievable
If he has puit that out there, I can't believe he would not do it. We are all waiting with bated breath.
That monster disregarded any information from Terri's family and friends because he was ONLY going to serve his master the DEVIL and the devil's minions... felos, HINO and HINO's family.
I read that here a few months ago, and now Greer is finally admitting to the mistake. Looks like he is tying up loose ends because he knows the clock is running out.
I feel ashamed to be an American today. We treat our pets and our murders better than we treat each other.
And .. if this "mistake" was made, I'm betting there were some very big ones too.
NOW we learn that the dates did jive.
FYI Ping
Judge Greer disregarded (or found unreliable) every testimony of the Schindler family due to a 'time discrepancy'...go read the document.
Now, he says he erred in this finding, but refuses to think it's significant?
More unbelievable.
Greer is way over his head and too stubborn to admit he made HORRIBLE mistakes. He probably never thought this case back them would get this kind of attention. Luckily for him all the higher courts refused to even look at all the facts in this case.
Wow! The whole rationale of the impending homicide is based on the claim that Terri wanted to die. The testimony in question completely negates that.
fyi
Some please explain to me why FReepers are siding with this judge?
Someone..
