Recall those horror stories of the pod people. I feel that we are under assault from the unfeeling aliens who try to convince us of the "painless" death of another human, as I hear clicking in their fowl testimony's breath. This is a nightmare for humans - "apparent" people in apparent authority neglecting to act to save a human being clearly in peril of life. Seemingly acting under delusion of some political calculus that gives them advantage in facilitating Terri's death.

So we, who have followed the ups and downs of this case see injustice and negligence rue the day and deeply despise the outcome, and feel helpless at the outrageous fortune that is sure to follow - what do we do? What do we do? It is time to purge this society of the unfeeling creeps who can imagine that this is just, orderly, and sane. To kill a helpless human being so that order is preserved, and the law is observed. Those who are satisfied with such an outcome are pod people, alien plants who would see the demise of anything human in our existance. They are deficient in humanity, are shallow in understanding of the value of life. We must not let these "people" prevail.
