You missed my point entirely. Michael Savage was saying that Jeb Bush had the power to take Trri into protective custody ! But her never acted. Why not? If I had been the Governor of the 'Great State of Florida' she would have been taken into custody back in 2004. I would have send State Troopers to protect her and would have transferred her to a full service medical facility. Why? Because she was a possible victim of a crime. In the meantime, Terri lays dying . . .

I am not a supporter of Jeb Bush. But I guess you guessed that already.

As Savage said tonight, "If nothing further is done to protect Terri Schiavo -- then this case was being used as a political football by both sides." I believe Savage hit the nail on the head. Nothing more will be done. Terri will die in the next 24 hours. And both sides will still be shouting at each other until the next election.

You are WAYYY TOO HARD on jeb. Without Jeb, Terri would already be dead. I guess you forgot Terri's law #1. Jeb is a hero to TErri and her family. Just because he's not quite ready to seize her, doens't mean anything. He is probably reviwing ways he can, in which a positive result would occur. The last thing we want is Terri dead and Jeb in jail.

When you see a wrong being done, and there's no law to deal with it, you should do something. It's that simple. The Governor of Florida doesn't get it. If the laws protect the guilty and permit harm to the innocent, you don't stand there and watch helplessly. You do what's right and then meet the law head on---even if it means going on trial. That's what a leader would do.
