"Thank you! Yes. I have hope for the new evidence and different case. If this information about Wittlemore is true it seems Gibbs really screwed up."
I think it was a combo effort of Gibbs and the fact that the hearing that Whittemore gave was not a de novo. De novo is imperative here. Plus, I would have to think, judge or not, they watch tv and have to know that the people are angry....and pleading for help....maybe he will give that...a feather in his cap wouldn't it be?
The poll I just saw showed 82 percent for MRS. Why would the judge in Atlanta give a hoot about the other 18 percent? Even the newspaper poll in supposedly conservative Lubbock, TX, was heavily pro-MRS today.
Maybe not in THIS case. This is a different case (state custody for Terri), different language, different lawyer and different claim and appeal.
Heavenly Father, we weep with this mother and echo her cries for help for her wounded child ... our hearts are tear stained as we share her agony ... sustain her daughter on a deathbed prepared by evil, itself. Tend her with the touch of the Heavenly Host upon her dying body ... sustain her unto the time of her deliverance. Rescue her out of this torment, Merciful Father ... carry her back to her mother's arms. Make haste, O Lord ... make haste, for the hour approaches. In the Name of Jesus, we plead ... Amen
