I feel that Jeb is a good man, but not gutsy enough. He should have given Terri protective custody BEFORE last Friday, when they removed the feeding tube.
Wouldn't we feel that way if it was us, or one of our loved ones starving to death.
Bobby spent 45 minutes with Jeb after Greers latest ruling. Trying to figure out a way to save Terri.
arghhhh
That doesn't sound good
I believe that I heard that earlier this evening. I think that it has already been filed hasn't it?
Girl, you got to get some rest especially if your grandson needs you.
Did anyone get a transcript of Mr. Schindler tonight? I thought I heard him say something strange about saving face or an out for Greer or something like that.
Evening pollywog. I know what you mean. I'm sitting here refreshing this thread constantly waiting to hear some new good news.
What's that about?
Probably, I may have missed it.
And they'd have to be good swimmers to get escape. :)
"Republican leaders say they will file a legal brief in this case."
Legal briefs here, legal briefs there.
Time is running out for Terri! She has entered her seventh day w/o water or food. It's now time for the Governor to send in the state troopers and rescue her.
really! The only catfish looking woman I know is that Susan Estrich!!LOL...I don't have the TV going. I needed solitude. Just the computer.!!
Or posting flags like this example:
Terri will be dead in the next 24 hours. If Jeb does not act immediately, she will be dead. Dead is dead. Then what is Jeb going to do about the potential criminal case? If he does not protect Terri now, her husband will seize the body and destroy any evidence that may exist in a crematorium. 'Nuff said.
I know that she would remain in Florida but I just started working at a new Rehabilitation hospital and I was thinking today how honored I would be to have Terri there.:')
I've read Terri is having nose bleeds, vomiting and can barely make a sound her throat is so dry.
It's already 1:30 a.m. eastern.
To be accurate, it's been five and one-half days.
Early tomorrow afternoon will be six days, starting on the seventh.
You are so right polly, a definite see-saw of emotions. I hope you're feeling better.
Sounds painless, huh?
When you see a wrong being done, and there's no law to deal with it, you should do something. It's that simple. The Governor of Florida doesn't get it. If the laws protect the guilty and permit harm to the innocent, you don't stand there and watch helplessly. You do what's right and then meet the law head on---even if it means going on trial. That's what a leader would do.
