That's one of my favorites, ruoflaw.
We have a wee bit of country 1000 feet off the road. Trips up and down the driveway for the mail or just for exercise are routinely spent with the Lord. I've always been very thankful for the opportunities.
AMEN Saundra.
Is everyone getting as BLESSED AS I AM?????
True...but I also believe that God brings us together to connect with even more believers because the battle of good vs. evil are getting more frequent and the state of this world is getting worse.
This is a sign of the times.
Some years ago, the evil that is spreading their demonic existences and demonic power would be in hiding.
Do you see the beast loose now? Do you see the un-afraid to show it evilness???
I do.
We are here to create the Army of God to defend Him and Jesus and/or to teach the younger generation the values of faith!!!
we know what you mean!
We sang "It is well", at my step dad's memorial.
We sang it at our baby son's memorial service, too. And I definitely want it sung at mine.
that means that all the evil doers that are getting a pass by stymied Christians who just say "they'll get theirs" ( punishment) when they meet their maker.....are just getting away with it while we sit around bemoaning that we have no heroes....
folks....I am just tired of never having a hero......
no knights in shining armour....
no David's to slay Goliath....
we have to change our attitude because this attitude of just letting what ever happen becaue God will be there at the end is getting us no where fast, in fact , we are sinking further...
did God imagine that we would become so paralyzed here on Earth that even in the face of evil, we sit , passively.....
wouldn't Jesus have expected a little more gumption out of us?
wouldn't HE have DEMANDED it?
I think we are pollywog.
Oh yes Lord, we LOOK TO YOU.You are here in this place with us. Your presence is flooding our souls with peace. PEACE, OH the PEACE OF GOD.
I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul's complaint.
He lives, all glory to His Name.
He lives, my Savior still the same.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
It's 1.30 am in Poland on Good Friday.
Sweet Terri, your suffering is a valuable prayer in the eyes of God. His angels are now at your side, our hearts and prayers are with you. May God keep you in the palm of His hand tonight.
God bless you all, dear Freepers. I'll see you in the morning.
God is Almighty. Never forget that.
Hallelujah! :) It's OK. No one cares about the spelling right now.
Yes. I'm at peace. I feel the Holy Spirit's presence. ALL IS WELL. God is here. God will never leave us. King of Kings and Lord of Lords is in our midst.
Psalm 121: I look up to the mountains -- does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth. He will not let you stumble and fall; the one who watches over you will not sleep. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never tires and never sleeps. The Lord himself watches ove ryou! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not hurt you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all evil and preserves your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever."
HANG ON TERRI!!!!!!
beautiful, I haven't sung that since I was a young woman
Otta, I'm sorry. How long ago?
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
Refrain
So Ill cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.
O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.
Refrain
In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me.
Refrain
To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then Hell call me some day to my home far away,
Where His glory forever Ill share.
Refrain

Yes, sitting here with the tears flowing, but I feel very, very blessed to be with this fellowship.
