Amen in the Name of Jesus. Our God will take what was intended for evil and make good come of it.

Jeb said that he understands why people would think that he as governor can take Terri into custody, but he cannot do that.

Then why in the heck did the person who finally answered my call at Jeb's office tell me that 'he's still working, keep watching the news'???

That reminds me of a joke if you all want to hear it. I saw it in Reader's Digest:

A scientist was talking to God and told him "hey, we don't need you anymore, we can do everything you can, so you don't have to hang around anymore".

God said, "Really? Are you sure? Is there not one thing you can't do without me?"

And the scientist said , "nope, we have test tube babies, heart transplants, science and medical technology is the best now, etc.".

So God says, "OK, I'll tell you what...I will go away and never interfere with matters here on earth if you win a little contest I have in mind".

The scientists says, "OK, what is the contest?"

And God says, "We're going to have a man-making contest, and you have to do it the way I did in the beginning, no trick or petri dishes".

The scientist says with complete confidence (and a little smarminess), "No problem! Then he stoops down and scoops up some dirt off the ground.

God says, "Whoa, wait a minute pal...get your OWN dirt".

> I think he respects Felos

I suspect it's admiration (and probably mutual) rather than respect.

If the almost non-existent (re MSM) reporting about the background network of personal and financial connections surrounding Terri's grim and tragic situation ever gets up the courage to dive into the topic, IMHO, the ensuing outrage will be greater than the current palpable sorrow, outrage and powerful emotion supporters for Terri's life are displaying all across the country, and many other countries.

Certainly to this point, there is no doubt that JINO Greer has shown himself to be an extraordinarily wilely and tough opponent. He has outwitted, outmaneuvered and immasculated the entire Florida government network, and beyond -- up to Congress and the POTUS. And the third branch, the judiciary has circled the wagons to protect and defend one of its own.
Since all these entities and agencies have now been seen as subservient to one county circuit judge, I ask, what good do these institutions serve? Certainly not the 300+ million American people. But most importantly, not for helpless disabled Terri and her anguished and bereaved family.

"Yes, I got mocked for "throwing away my vote". I tell the mockers that I'm not throwing away my principles and conscience. And that's what really matters."

Well my friend, I apologize to you and to the others that I criticized for voting third party.

It seems that in the next election I will be following you into the breach.

I just spoke with a tired and harried young woman at the gov leg affairs office--

I said I just heard on tv Jeb can do no more for Terri--

She says people misunderstood that he was going in when what he said was DCF would file a petition and if it was accepted DCF could go in then the judge got out of bed and ruled they could not--

I said yeah because Felos told him to, because the one man who runs Florida is not Jeb--it's Felos--

No, sir, we're working very hard here--

Oh no, he's not going in, she'll die, and we are not amused. I will not take up any more of your time.

~~~
My mother warned me about seeming heroes with feet of clay.
In the final judgment Greer will get his thousand degrees Kelvin and Jeb can run for nothing about which I can raise my voice.
Further this deponent sayeth not.
I am absolutely amazed at the large cell of believers here on FR. When I first came on in 2000, I thought I would just get some info on the Gore/Bush fiaso. I was in for a very SWEET SUPRISE!!! I LOVE YOU ALL..............
Be still, my soul (midi)
Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.
Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart,
And all is darkened in the vale of tears,
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears.
Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.
Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise
On earth, be leaving, to Thy Lord on high;
Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways,
So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye.
Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine
Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.
