Florida DCF files petition for intervention:

that is what we all see and we need to do something about it so it never ever happens again. We must work on this after Easter while it is still fresh in the minds of our representitives. Judges should follow the law...not make laws and not break the laws
Go Judge Moore!! We need more men like you!
Thanks. Well......in OUR mind his opinion is gold.....
The Florida DCF statute (not a new law) defines two types of interventions. One type requires a court order to intervene. The second type (emergency intervention) does not require a court order. The DCF staff may take action and do not have to appear before a judge until a later time (24 hours, I think, weekends and holidays excepted). This has been posted many times on this site since Jeb's news conference yesterday. I'm surprised you haven't seen it. To my knowledge, Judge Greer has not ruled this statute unconstitutional. Greer has tried to bluff Bush and the DCF into not acting under this section, apparently with success (at least for now).
I'm sorry -- the post was 2264.
Randall Terry said family just left the room from seeing Terri. Her mom got sick from seeing Terri's condition has gotten worse. She said Terri appeared to be begging her mom for help........ She will not last long now.
Court will have a mini trial at 6:00. Hopefully, that is the last straw. Or Gov Bush take on the Judge and have the chance of being arrested.
Judge Roy Moore:
We need a constitutional showdown to force this issue.
We have a SC that is ruling by international law.
If we don't have a showdown, it will just get worse.
We need the other branches to step up and face this.
When the executive starts bending to the rule of judges, we already have a constitutional crisis.
All of above, Judge Roy Moore.
I'm sorry, but if JEB lets Terri die he will be no hero to us. He is afraid! It is times like this that we know what a REAL man is and what isn't!
OMG. Randall Terry presser on Hannity. She looks like someone from Auschwitz, Mary Schindler was so upset she had to leave. THIS IS HORRIFIC!!!
He needs to let his anger turn into proactiveness right about now, actually yesterday! If he lets this wimpy Judge Greer kill Terri he is a wuss IMO!
In mine too!!!!!
Can someone re-post the phone #s for Jeb and DFC?
Thanks.
SBT, sad but true. The GOP always seems to leave us flat, when push comes to shove.
Wow! Judge Moore shoves it down the chute, ha? He is fantastic!
Mary Schindler physically ill on seeing Terri today.
Had to leave the room.
Someone on Sean now, don't know who.
Sister said Terri looks like she just got out of Auschwitz.
Terri trying to talk to her mother.
Thank you for your post about the boycott. One note on buying from California, Arizona and Texas instead though: Have we checked the laws in those states to be sure the same travesty could not happen there?
If the laws in those states are similar to Florida, then I would suggest we don't actively promote and write them at this point. Florida deserves the boycott because they have been confronted with how horrific and open to abuse their law is, but other states may have the same time bomb waiting to happen.
DCF. Sorry. I typed that wrong.
I know it. People don't pay attention to the "little people" on the ballot, otherwise they just sit on the bench forever untouched.
Judge James Whittemore will dismiss the motion. He is too friendly with Judge Greer to go against his ruling.
I am not so sure about that as he is giving them a second chance and they NOW have what he expected them to have in the first place, so they may be able to show the merit. I will tell you, though the SCOTUS denied today, the filing contained enough to hang Michael Schiavo, and if Whittemore saw that, he may feel that the case would now have some merit and a chance to win...this time a de novo.
Bobby Schindler said the same today on FNC.
