I'm glad your head feels better. I'm sure it's a very level one. :-)

At this point the Republican leaders appear to have handled this in the worst possible way. Why take such dramatic action Sunday if they weren't prepared to follow through with force, if necessary? They had the Democrats spinning by showing such moral courage and backbone. But then they backed down. Evidently they were just bluffing. They had a historic chance to push back the runaway judiciary, and they stood down in the middle of the battle. God help us all.

I don't know. I just see people in positions of power being held at bay by a county probate judge.

Judge James Whittemore will dismiss the motion. He is too friendly with Judge Greer to go against his ruling.

Like I said, it's contingent on what happens.

The situation should have already been taken care of. We'll see. It's also contingent on how the renegade GOP-ers in office in FL are dealt with. We'll see how that goes too.

This is yet another interesting division that Terri has forced to the forefront: Power (party) first - vs - Principle first.

Particularly if the rumor is true that he initiated the latest appeal.

You mean Wittlemore? There is so much going on I hadn't heard this aspect. Can you tell me more?

"Particularly if the rumor is true that he initiated the latest appeal"

I am not sure if that is done...but when Randall Terry was on I think he said the court called Gibbs...hey I wouldn't doubt that that could happen, but I am not sure.

do you think Gov. Bush liked being ordered around by Judge Greer? I bet it ticked Jeb off!

He had windows of opportunity that he let pass. If he's ticked it's because he's lacking as a leader. And his anger is nothing compared to ours. When leaders don't lead and they betray those who elected them, they deserve the hot seat.
