Day 5 going into Day 6 of no food or water for Terri.

Florida DCF files petition for intervention:

polly, you understand powers of government just fine. The governor and the rest of the executive branch has the power to intervene. It just falls to them to decide to do it or not.
The DCF, if they believe Terri may not be PVS, can remove Terri immediately and without a court order. They are the designated arm of the executive branch that can remove adults from a dangerous situation.
Part of the problem of the judiciary is a long standing one. We have long and continually elected lawyers to our congresses. We have long elected lawyers into the executive branches. Is it any surprize that the judicial system has grown to feel that they are the ultimate in power with regards to the other two branches of government?
I've become practically speechless at what this reveals about the condition of this country at this point in our history.
A local judge can now order the death of a handicapped woman, and NO ONE can stop him.
George Washington, Jefferson, all our great leaders from the past, would be reeling at what has happened.
Amen
The DCF quashed a 700-page report that detailed the abuse of Terri four years ago. I don't know why anyone is surprised that they are not going to do their sworn duty.
Lord, hear our prayers.
Lord, hear our prayers.
Lord, hear our prayers.
There isn't any more DCF motions for Greer to rule on is there?
Now there is nothing left but for him to go in. May God give Jeb the strenth to do what he knows he must.
Yes. Jeb has the authority. All he needs is the will. We all need to pray that, that Jeb has the strength to do what is right and not be swayed by the forces of evil.
No. And WFLA radio is reporting that FDLE has agreed to stand down. I can't confirm that yet.
Here's some hope. I could not get through to Governor Jeb Bush's #, so I called 1-850-488-5000 (Governor's Legislative Affairs Office) and said that Governor Bush has to put Terri in protective custody NOW. They said they agreed with me, and ARE WORKING ON IT. I told them they better hurry up; this woman is going to die.
Please call the # (1-850-488-5000), AND Governor Jeb Bush, if you can get through, or send a FAX, and tell them to please expedite, a woman is dying. Pro-death Judge Greer ordered police throughout the state not to intervene. Bully!!
We have THREE judicial branches, and they are all equal; they should not let only ONE branch rule.
Here's an e-mail I justed received from RightMarch.com, and if anyone has a fax, that might be an easier way to get through to the Bushes. Fax # listed below. If you can't get through by phone, a fax is better than and e-mail, because papers will pile up.
So here's my info from RightMarch.com:
"This is OUTRAGEOUS. Governor Bush needs to step up to
the plate NOW, and exercise his constitutional and legal
authority NOW, before Terri dies. But he doesn't seem
to be willing to take that chance and do it... so we
thought we should help encourage him.
So once more, we need YOUR help.
We need EVERYONE READING THIS EMAIL to call Governor
Jeb Bush RIGHT AWAY, and ask him to do one simple thing:
"PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR LEGAL AUTHORITY, AND TAKE
TERRI SCHIAVO INTO PROTECTIVE CUSTODY RIGHT AWAY."
That's all we're asking you to do. Just call Gov. Bush
NOW and beg him to save Terri's life.
TAKE ACTION: PLEASE call Governor Jeb Bush's office NOW
at 850-488-4441 (or fax him at 850-487-0801), asking him
to exercise the executive powers he ALREADY HAS, and take
custody of Terri Schiavo to save her from being starved
to death.
We've already met one-on-one with Gov. Bush's General Counsel
lawyers, showing them point-by-point exactly why the Governor
DOES have those powers right NOW. On Thursday, we're also
bringing in Alan Keyes and Larry Klayman to try to meet with
the Governor and urge him to take Terri into protective
custody. Call Gov. Bush NOW and ask him to USE his legal
powers to save Terri's life. You can also e-mail him at
jeb@myflorida.com .
You can also call his brother, President George W. Bush, at
202-456-1414 (or fax him at 202-456-2461). Leave a message
for him that he AND his brother both have the authority to
use the police services at their disposal to take Terri into
protective custody, restore her food and hydration, and
arrest anyone who would interfere. You can also e-mail him
at president@whitehouse.gov .
For the sake of Terri's life, we CANNOT afford to wait while
the courts bicker over jurisdiction -- and we CANNOT let
little two-bit judges order the Executive branch to not do
their duty."
I heard that too, then later I heard that the only one that voted in favor of Terri was the Bush Sr appointee
How does that play out though since Greer has ruled that they CANNOT?
Lord hear our prayers,
and let our cry come unto thee.
You are the only hope we have,
not the hand of man,
not the actions of people on earth,
but only you.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven,
Amen.
The president can write an executive order to get Terri into a hospital immediately. It is not breaking any law to do so. This action would not interfere with the judge. And since Greer already flaunted a Congressional subpoena his ruling is highly questionable.
Executive orders are lawful. They've been written by presidents ever since Washington on a number of different issues. http://www.heritage.org/Research/LegalIssues/LM2.cfm
Contacting the president and ask him to write an executive order immediately. Also, contact Gov. Jeb Bush asking him to take Terri into protective custody see contact info below:

"I'm not sure we can get it done here in Florida," Martinez quoted (Gov.) Bush as saying just after a new Schiavo measure stalled in the Florida Legislature. "Do whatever you can federally."
This is the Governor of Florida calling for help. Any notion that the Feds have no Constitutional business there is malarky.
Well, the truth is that either one of them can do something - if they want to.
You said it!
Has anyone seen that report?
Sun, this is the number that I called and she told me that the Governor didn't have the power, and that Greer had shot down the DCF request to go in......now I am confused.
Washington would say: time to disband this "country" and start all over.
Amen and Amen.
Come quickly, Jesus.
And that's exactly the point: the neurologist has determined that Terri is not PVS, but minimally conscious. She was condemned under PVS, but is not. I think all is in readiness to remove her ... pray God that this is so.
