While I don't agree with everything Jeb has done in Terri's case, I do admire him for his convictions. You're right in that he most likely has no political aspirations once he leaves the governor's office; he is acting solely on his convictions. The man is a true leader.
That's the way I see it. I guess I'd like to hear Gibbs's side of the story before I accused him of legal malpractice, but I think his tactics doomed his case from the time it was filed in Tampa.

Sinister motives by culture of death. Remember, Terri was condemned to death by hearsay not by a written document. Feeding someone is now being defined as life support equipment. The Abortionist, culture of death is trying to establish this as a landmark "right to die" case. Nazism is alive & well in the USA.

And I think you might be right. Wait until her funeral. Wait until the Schindlers are no longer on a PR leash. There will be lots of punditry and somewhere some good reporters, maybe a Blogger, heh, who will do some serious investigating.

Great summation. If we allow the judiciary to rule, what's the executive branch for? We need this hit of moral integrity.
A better question for me is: why don't the Bush Brothers show their pro-life convictions? Walk that talk about erring on the side of life. This woman has done nothing wrong but has fewer rights than the animals on death row.
Lemrick Nelson was tried for violating the civil rights of Yankel Rosenbaum long after Nelson killed him. Why then is the Schindler's suit rendered moot when Terri dies?

The dirty litttle secret is that on an appellate level it doesn't matter at all how good of an attorney you are, it matters which judges hear your case.
Some of the worst briefs I have ever read were granted and some of the best briefs I have ever read were denied without comment.
The fact is that 99% of the time the judges have made up their minds before they even read the briefs (that is IF they even bother to read them).
Hmmmmm, what would the odds be that Greer's mind was made up beforehand? About 100%. There is truth to what you say!
IMHO Greer wants to move up the food chain of Florida swamp judges. If it means walking on & over the dead body of Terri so be it.

Wrong. They could have "Perry Mason" as their lawyer & it would NOT MATTER. The Nazis in this country want her DEAD. They want to make her case a landmark one for the "Right to Die" cause. I hope I am wrong, but the only hope for Terri is either Jeb or President Bush using the powers of the Execuitve Branch to seize her.
IMHO the Shindler's lawyers waited so long was they thought that Jeb Bush would seize Terri and did not.
