And a court has found that Terri Schiavo does not want extra ordinary measures used to preserve her life and that she has that right.
Until that ruling is overturned, if Jeb does act outside the scope of his authority, he will be violating Terri Schiavo's rights.

Two possibiliteis, here:
1. You were conversing with someone who is CINO (Christian In Name Only). Many heretics and apostates still attend churches everywhere; it's their substitute for mebership in the Rotary or Kiwanis Clubs.
2. You were conversing with someone more recently brought to faith who has not yet fully realized all of the moral ramifications of the techings of Scripture. For many converts, that is a real process of growth and change and they need alot of grace and mercy along the way.

Yes, for federal judges....For the OTHER ones...They need 50% + people wanting them out of office during an election...Its on the ballots....Tell your friends :D
Sigh I think the law has truly failed Terri in every sense of the word. A mentally disabled woman is being starved/dehydrated in a hospital room, with security guards throwing her family out at the door. What else is there to say? It's a big injustice and the polls show 60-70% don't care, I'm disheartened.

What a court finds is not the measure of one's rights. Real rights are inalienable, a court decision cannot strip a person of them. In the specific case, the court's finding is of course an abomination that should offend anyone even reasonably familiar with the facts of the case. The court made the finding in contravention of law - hearsay evidence is not admissible in court, yet that's all the court's findings of Terri's alleged will is based on.
Make your voices heard, Floridians. Be warned, silence will speak louder than works.
Oh... furthermore, food and water are not extraordinary measures. There's nothing that she requires to stay alive that you and I do not also require.
