"You cannot let emotions get carried away and ask Gov Bush or President Bush to break the law or take the law into their own hands."

With all due respect, isn't that what the residents around the concentration camps must have used as an excuse?

The LAW, as it is in this case, isn't right. I emailed Rush and Glenn today with these comments:

In the case of Terry Schiavo, when people bring up the "caveat" that the courts have had their say and we need to abide by the courts ruling and due process, here is the response. Dred Scott. In l857, the Supreme Court ruled that African Americans were not citizens, therefore the federal government did not have the power to prohibit slavery in its territories. In the Schiavo case, court findings do not necessarily make the decision to allow Michael Schiavo to murder his wife right. There are many laws that are not on the side of right. For those who claim that the Michael has had his day in court and we must abide by the rule of law or open a "Pandoras Box", I say thank God that was not the attitude after Dred Scott, or it would still be the law today. God bless Terri.

Hey! There's an idea! Dred Scott! All we need now is for some violence to break out, have Bush save her life with a stroke of a pen, and then hundreds of thousands of dead later, we'll all be united again, and Terri will have been saved!

Yeah! Woo!

I am saying that you don't ask the President or the Governor to go outside the law but to work within the framework of the Constitution and the laws of the land which they have done.

I think Judge Greer is despicable but I am asking now if he had all the facts that have come out in the last week like the affidavits from these nurses who are now on the talk shows? Did the lawyers for the family let Terri down?

We have not stood quietly by -- we have made our voices heard but you cannot take the law into your own hands in this instance. The time to get her out of that facility was sometime ago when her family realized what was happening.

I want answers why this was allowed to get this far -- everytime I read something new, I have to ask why it wasn't brought out before? I do not want the President or the Governor to break the laws of this Nation -- end of story. Our Nation was founded on laws and over the years some have been good and others bad but we have to learn to work within the system.

Why didn't these nurses come forward earlier? Ask yourself that question! Maybe if they had, the DCF could have taken over control in Florida if they had the necessary evidence to act.
