IF the electrodes were put in, lets say at week 40 or earlier, then I'd predict her broken bones came from the electrodes being used as a type of electro-shock to fry the portion of her brain where memories are contained.
I just did a google for "Electro shock" and "broken bones" and apparently it is VERY common to have broken bones during electro shock, due to violent contortions if the patient is not restrained properly.
I therefore suggest the REAL reason for the electrodes was to give her an "ELECTRICAL LABOTOMY" to guarantee she couldn't remember her beating and strangulation the morning of Feb 25th 1990, and also to satisfy the court's definition of PVS.
If Terri dies, an autopsy is absolutely critical!!! Not only for forensic examination of the broken bones, but to see if the tissue around the electrodes shows it was burned off.
Have you read the discussion here:

What's your take on it?

Michael wants her cremated immediately upon her death and Judge Greervorkian has ok'd it.
I have been looking for an article for the past hour that I read yesterday, but can't seem to find now about the electrodes and their causing of fluid buildup around them in the brain. But, I did come accross this web blog and I've not read it before. It gives a timeline against what Michael reported with statements by medical doctors and nurses who treated her at the time.
