"Likewise, her ass was in the wrong place too."

I'm giving you the opportunity to clarify that you are not in favor of Jim Crow laws being re-established.

"Begrudgingly, I will admit that civil disobedience sometimes speeds up change. But I prefer to see it happen through proper channels."

No argument from me there. The only problem is that she'll be dead in a week or so unless someone comes through.

Public school integration in the 1950's was civil disobedience, enforced at the point of Washington's power.

Ike and JFK evidently had a bigger set that W does.

I think you took that the wrong way, but it is more likely that I phrased it the wrong way. I can easily see how my words could be mistaken to mean that. No, I am in NO way in favor of any Jim Crow laws being re-established. When I said "her ass was in the wrong place", I did not mean that she was doing something inherently wrong. I meant that what she did was illegal and I don't believe that was the right way to accomplish the change of that particular Jim Crow law (even though I think it SHOULD have been changed). The proper way would have been to go through the legislative process at best and, at worst, sue and go through the judicial process.
