Again, please point me to the relevant court document(s) as there is much misinformation in the media about Terri's case.

All of the court rulings (state and federal) are linked on this site.

You are a right to die and kill advocate. All your posts are evidence of that. And there is no tin foil here. All the orders that have deprived Terri of any kind of comfort in life demonstrate their collusion.
And you are strangely silent on providing all of us with an explanation for these cruel rulings.
De novo trial was ordered, why do you think?
Is that also going over your head?

Still, in all fairness, this disaster is primarily the work of Republicans -- GOP officials in Pinellas Co., FL, and the weak Republican U.S. senators in Washington, unwilling to adopt the stronger Sensenbrenner language from the House. And even MRS is "Republican."

Who said anything about automatic divorce? I said there are grounds for divorce, Biblically. You made it sound like a couple are bound to each other forever no matter what.

NOPE. NO CONSPIRACIES GOING ON DOWN IN FLORIDA.

Carassas, a former member of Florida’s House of Representatives, District 54, is the regional deputy attorney general for Central Florida which includes the St. Petersburg area. He resigned his seat in the Florida Legislature in July, 2003 to assume his position in the attorney general’s office.

Former Pinellas County Sheriff Everett Rice assumed Carassas’ seat in the House. As sheriff, Rice also quashed attempts by the Schindler family and others to open an investigation into the Terri Schiavo case.

Rice, a 20-year personal friend of Greer, is now a member of the Criminal Justice, Justice Appropriations and Domestic Security Committees of the House. As sheriff, Rice allegedly improperly allowed the use of a sheriff’s patrol car and a deputy to appear in Greer’s televised political advertisement.

Michael Schiavo's MOTHER worked for SHERIFF RICE. Now MICHAEL works for him.

MRS now works for the new sheriff, elected in 2004. He is the popular Pinellas Co. jail nurse.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator George Allen (R-VA) today announced that he will support the Incapacitated Person’s Legal Protection Act of 2005 which would extend habeas corpus rights to individuals who are incapacitated. The bill, sponsored by Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL), was drafted in response to the case of Terry Schiavo, an incapacitated Florida woman who is set be starved to death by court order on Friday.

Senator Allen released the following statement today:

“In this situation, when I see the video tapes of Terry Schiavo, it is clear she is conscious and has feelings. I realize this is an extraordinary measure to properly protect Terry. I have spoken with her brother and Senator Martinez and when this bill comes before me, I will vote for it.”

“I believe in the sanctity of human life. I cannot in good conscience sit by and let this innocent woman be starved to death. Just because she has lost the ability to audibly communicate, doesn’t mean she has lost her desire or right to live. When in doubt, it is appropriate and logical to presume that people want to live.”

“For similar situations that may arise in the future, the very best and appropriate solution would be for the people in the States to move their Governor and legislature to adopt strong guardian ad litem laws to afford an incapacitated person such as Terry Schiavo to be represented by an independent attorney.”

Even scarier is the amount of people who do believe judges are God. Especially Judge Greer in this case.

I keep waiting for the ones who champion the rule of law and judge worship to take just a peek behind the legal curtain at a human being being starved to death. Terri isn't just some abstract legal arguement.

Viewing the anatomy of a brain and rendering interpretations is a probably a difficult matter. I wouldn't trust any interpretations of any scientific evidence presented unless it had certification by a board of experts and peer review comments. This is why it makes sense to ask for an update to assess Terri's condition to weed out any manipulation and sloppy interpretation of the evidence in this case.

You are presumptuous and arrogant to take on Winston Churchill as a screen name, but that characterization is obvious from your posts, which are gratuitously sarcastic, especially to other Freepers. This forum is not designed for the relief of posters' bitterness.

Furthermore, your manner is not only unpleasant but deceptive. There have been a succession of guardians ad litem, at least two were appointed more recently than 1998. Why you respond with old, irrelevant facts is clear only to you.

A federal de novo review will likely affirm the Florida trial court, since a virtual de novo review of all the facts has already conducted by the state appellate court.

According to the Wolfson Report, (page 19) provided to Governor Jeb Bush by court-appointed guardian Jay Wolfson, the Florida appellate court conducted a virtual de novo review of all the facts of this case in June 2003:

The 2nd DCA [District Court of Appeals] panel of judges engaged in what approximated a de novo review of all the facts, testimony, and video tapes presented at the trial. The appellate court affirmed the trial court’s ruling and its conclusion, and in addition, ordered the trial court to set a hearing date for the removal of the artificial life support.

Again you refuse to deal with the facts of the case. The everyday living conditions that have been imposed on this poor woman. You may choose to ignore how Terri has been mistreated in the last 10 years, but the point is that most people in the US are not willing to do that?.
Let me ask, do you agree with the living conditions that have been imposed on Terri.
Do you agree that her teeth could not be brushed?

She also developed decubitus (skin) ulcers [bedsores] on her buttocks and thighs... The presence of these easily preventable ulcers is a classic sign of neglect."

However, Terri did develop bedsores, and I reported that fact, in March of 2004. This was over three months after Wolfson issued his report. So there is in fact no conflict.

Will the Catholic Church in THIS country abide by that? If left to his own devices, the local Bishop may or may not do something (ignore the situation). However, any Catholic can petition the tribunal to push the issue AND publicity would necessitate the Bishop having to take action and hence assure justice prevails in such a case.

He won't be married in a catholic church, not after the Vatican came out publicly against the Killing of Terri. The Anglican church may give him a parade however.Surely the gay bishop will oblige.

I have heard he is not Catholic; however, his adulteress is Catholic (obviously not devout).

The judiciary is in no danger with the democrats, obviously, since they love have the imperial judiciary now in its liberal bias; the Republicans lack the character to reign in the judiciary; your comment is at least niave, sadly for all of US who wish you were correct that something would be done with a Republican majority in both houses. what we must not do is fall for the invitation to lay this current failure at the feet of the President, or even with the Congress ... eight years of Clinton's degeneracy has done far more damage to this nation than any could have foreseen, and the current obstructionist policy of the dying degenerate (Constitutionally degenerate) Democrats is effective only because the Republicans count votes rather than their cajones.
