This case is DE NOVO, from what I understand. That means, EVERYTHING'S NEW. NEW DISCOVERY (evidence requests/demands for depositions/testimony), NEW WITNESSES (allowing in witnesses Greer would not....if the new judge so orders), NEW EVERYTHING, RETRIED, new medical tests/evaluations, etc., by different doctors. Apparently, also, according to one of the Senators or Reps, investigations into sealed records by Michael Schavio, i.e., what he's done with ALL THE MONEY. If there's life insurance, what the amount is, who's the beneficiary, when was it made. That is my understanding for the POTENTIAL. Now, what actually happens....we must pray it all does happen.

Which side presents first? It'd seem like a lot of time could be saved if Michael's side went first. Then the judge could look at Michael's "clear and compelling evidence" and banish him from the courtroom for trying to kill a woman on such feeble grounds.

I surely can't sleep. I just want to know that they have reinserted that tube, Greer is off the case, and Michael is not allowed in the room!!!!!

You might as well go to bed. There was some talk tonight that the Federal District judge would bounce the case up to the appelate level. The Court may decide to have a hearing with both sides present prior to deciding whether to reinsert the feeding tube.

As far as I recall there was nothing in the bill that forbids Michael from being in her room.

Yes -- I know very well about the son she and Al have who is disabled. That's a sad journey for any parent, and I appreciate it and empathize fully. However, I do not believe that motherly love was displayed in her commentary about this issue. She was as she always is: notably depressed whenever W or the Pubbies make gains. Does anyone left here (waiting for relief & ambulance for Terri), know HOW I can hear any news? Everything Sun night is rerun, rerun, even Fox not updating. Is there any radio station you know of, so we can know she has been taken to a hospital?
Fox said they had ambulance waiting for paperwork.
I must rant at even with much media coverage, NOBODY ever talks about how Michael NEVER SAID SHE WANTED TO DIE un til AFTER the $$$$$ settlement.
Makes me furious, but yet so thankful to Praise God for the congress decision tonight.
It has never been discussed on millions of Terri threads, the fact that people who say they "wouldn't want to live like that" can't comprehend what thay are asking their family to perform and watch them die, (those who would choose pulling food/water plugs)
I REFUSE to make my sons have to witness that 2 week shrivel/suffer time. They can unplug my ventilator, but want food/water.
My lawywer, while making out my living will, got actually MAD at me, said I was "tying the kids hands"!!! (By not just unplugging food/water also).His preference obvious, huh?!!!!!!!
Also, when the idiot docs say "she feels no pain", remember ewhen they used to say babies feel no pain? Now they have admitted THEY DO FEEL PAIN! So how can any doc know what a person feels, unless they have had brain injury and recovered?

Michael Schiavo has proven his disgust of Terri; - and The Schindler Family has proven their love for Terri.

Michael Schiavo does NOT deserve our pity, but Terri definitely deserves our help!
