I have noticed that both Judy Woodruff and Morton Kondracke, big liberals, favor the death of Terri. Yet they have struggled for years with invalid loved ones. Woodruff a son and Kondracke with his late wife, who died in 2004 from Parkinson's. Do they not see a lack of credibility at all in their positions?

My head is about to explode.

She doesn't need her own specific wheelchair. I'm sure there's one at the hospice.

My son was quadriplegic at age 16. Diving accident.

He was in the hospital (rehab), for over a year. And we took him out every day. Even in the cold NY winter. He loved being outside.

This is just too sad.........I don't know what country I'm living in.

If you were paralised and not able to speak - would you like to be fed by tube and artificially kept alive for more than 15 years? This IS a torture!

Here's someone else who cannot do anything for himself, and the only way he can speak is with a speech synthesizer. Ask him if he would like to be killed. He's been this way quite a bit longer than Terri.
