Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
That was good!
"Brain dead," no problem. I drove an ambulance for a living and completely understand that. No brain activity equals dead.
Brain damaged, however, means still alive.
Now, my brother in law was in a very nasty accident when he was a truck driver and ended up in a coma, then a "persistent vegitative state" for several months (he was unresponsive to external stimuli). With intensive theraby he got better, to the point that he is up and about. My sister didn't know him when all this happened, so he obviously is doing pretty good. His condition is similar to someone who has had a medium stroke. Some speech and cognitive impairment, some difficulty walking (but that's more from hip damage than brain damage). He gave me a video several years ago that laid down some good background.
One thing about him, however. He's made it very clear that he doesn't want to go through anything even remotely close to what happened before. He refuses to wear seat belts and he carries a living will (with DNR in big block letters) wherever he goes.
I gotta go. Could someone please ping me with the decision when it comes in?? THanks!

I absolutely believe it. Even now, there are people who don't understand because it's not been exposed for what it is. We have to win, not just for Terri but for all of us. If we prove what's happened to her, everything will be exposed. And people will learn what's been hidden. If you've been at this for years, you must have a lions heart. It a tough battle.
But what am I looking for, 686 or 182?
"findlaw.com has the bill"
Thanks to LegalEagle for that!
looks like something going on in front of the courthouse (on tampbabay10 webcast)

Judge will not make decsion right now.....
"judge has decided NOT to make a decision at this time" -- WTH!!!!
"I am too and to think the same people that do not see anything wrong with this are the same ones screaming for the well-being of the whales, the trees, misunderstood murderers, poor child molesterors, and those partying terrorists that get their jollies killing innocents. I lost patience with them after 9/11. Now I think it is time to declare war against these idiots."
My thoughts as well, enough is enough. GWB is doing a good job at pointing the country back in a decent and SANE direction, but God knows he needs all our help.
Prayers up
Why? OMG
Don't be discouraged.
This Judge is LISTENING!!!!!
My God
Waiting for someone to come out of courthouse.
Hope to god that's not true...
Hearing has ended per John Gibson but no ruling yet.
Hearing is over but no ruling yet
Don't know. He seems pretty eloquent to me. And he has thousands, maybe 10s of thousands, raising him up in prayer, like utaghgen's,
Heavenly Father - please bless, lead and guide Attorney Gibbs during these proceedings - we pray in the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen & amen.
Yes, Gibbs is good, BUT, a few times I have seen him on teevee, there are more impacting statements he could say while on camera, especially about the time lapse between Terri's initial hospitalization and the $$$$$ settlement, when Michael suddenly (and his brother and sis-in-law) REMEMBERED Terri stated her wishes after watching a movie, and in 1990, the Florida "life support" legally DID NOT INCLUDE FOOD/WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
