Well don't call the whale stupid. Perhaps he is doing what nature intended him to do. Maybe it's those who want to go out there and "save" him that should be called stupid. why do humans think they can change the course of something in the animal kingdom anyway? Creatures know what they are doing and know how to take care of themselves. Actually, in some of those cases they are probably better off alone than with human help well intended as it may be. Well, I wasn't really calling the whale stupid (LOL)--I was just calling the whole situation stupid! We in Texas paid I don't know how much to try to save some ......oak tree in Austin that some person had poisoned. I mean people poison other people every day and get a slap on the wrist! Duh!
Why can't we get Teddy Kennedy to "beach himself" ???
