Wolfson's report is based on court files, depositions, medical records and interviews with everyone involved.
That said, I begin with the most explosive allegation:
Did Michael try to kill Terri?
Wolfson laughs. "No!"
-----
Wolfson's report states that in the four years after her collapse, Michael "had insistently held to the premise that Theresa could recover and the evidence is incontrovertible that he gave his heart and soul to her treatment and care . . . In late autumn of 1990, following months of therapy and testing and formal diagnoses of persistent vegetative state with no evidence of improvement, Michael took Theresa to California, where she received an experimental thalamic stimulator implant in her brain. Michael remained in California caring for Theresa during a period of several months."
Says Wolfson now: "Michael was adoring of her. One nursing home complained he was hostile and abusive of the staff in championing her care. She was immaculately kept. In 13 years, she never had one bedsore."

Thanks for that link; I'd seen another similar article but couldn't find it.
Republicans can be stupid too. This ain't the first time and it won't be the last time.
I think not pulling the plug is the right thing because it is public.
At this point I am content to let the dems say....LET HER DIE.
I believe her parents are selfish and frankly, unhinged due to spite against their son in law.
Whenever there is tragedy there is an attempt to find someone to blame.
Human nature at it's worst.
At this point, saving her life will not hurt her or help her, therefore, I see no point in callously saying......LET HER DIE which is essentially the dem position.
Terri's parents hate Michael more than they love their daughter and therein lies the dilemma.
I don't know if that's true or not.

I am a parent and a daughter.
I would not wish Terri's life on my worse enemy.
The only consolation is that Terri has no idea what is swirling around her.
Source, please. :)

-MICHAEL: "When is that B-ITCH gonna die?"-
For the above hateful quote,
See TERRI's Nurse's Affidavid Section 9 in Post No. 13 of:

Absolutely!
But this is the first time in my lifetime that they (we) have controlled the House, Senate and the WH.
It will be the last time for who knows how long. THEY are USEING the personal tragedy of one woman to (they think) play up to 'the base'!
It stinks!!!
Thank you for highlighting that. It's the primary reason, imo, that Michael doesn't just walk away.
I know that given the same set of circumstances that my husband has too much honor to let that happen to me and he would honor me more than that. Even if he'd moved on and found someone else.
I do not understand them, I'll admit. I was taught that hatred and anger at someone who harmed you would certainly end up destroying the hater.
I could never live like that.
Amen, OldFriend.
I am frankly of the belief that, if by some miracle the Democrats declared themselves to be prolife, and Hillary! came out so, at LEAST half of the "prolifers" would immediately abandon the GOP. After all, once you've got your heart's political desire, why not then go to the party offering the most goodies for "free"? Many of those same people actually LIKE government control of individuals, anyway.
Thanks for the hotlink, Smartaleck.
Well said, Long Cut.
I have also stayed away from these threads. I'd just like to know how the Pubbies in office who have now made such fools of themselves are going to fix this?
However, I'll bet it's a cold day in the Sahara before they do any favors for the radical extremists again, and that INCLUDES judges.
It is unprecedented that a federal de novo review be mandated by the Congress, bypassing eight years of state court review.
The Democrats are making some good points here. You can bet they've polled this, and they know that a large number of Americans are listening to this debate.
