Wolfson's report is based on court files, depositions, medical records and interviews with everyone involved.
That said, I begin with the most explosive allegation:
Did Michael try to kill Terri?
Wolfson laughs. "No!"
-----
Wolfson's report states that in the four years after her collapse, Michael "had insistently held to the premise that Theresa could recover and the evidence is incontrovertible that he gave his heart and soul to her treatment and care . . . In late autumn of 1990, following months of therapy and testing and formal diagnoses of persistent vegetative state with no evidence of improvement, Michael took Theresa to California, where she received an experimental thalamic stimulator implant in her brain. Michael remained in California caring for Theresa during a period of several months."
Says Wolfson now: "Michael was adoring of her. One nursing home complained he was hostile and abusive of the staff in championing her care. She was immaculately kept. In 13 years, she never had one bedsore."

You've done well my dear ;-)~~~
LOL.
I was pretty surprised when it was moved out of News. I was in the middle of going to the link when it happened. I think the Mods respond more often if we hit abuse and ask the question why it was moved but I'm not positive about that. Does anyone else know?
No, others did as well, and when making the decision in the case, the trial judge took into account all of that testimony and additional evidence. As the Second District explained:
We note that the guardianship court's original order expressly relied upon and found credible the testimony of witnesses other than Mr. Schiavo or the Schindlers. We recognize that Mrs. Schiavo's earlier oral statements were important evidence when deciding whether she would choose in February 2000 to withdraw life-prolonging procedures. See § 765.401(3), Fla. Stat. (2000); In re Guardianship of Browning, 568 So. 2d 4, 16. Nevertheless, the trial judge, acting as her proxy, also properly considered evidence of Mrs. Schiavo's values, personality, and her own decision-making process.
Yes, he was a "loving, adoring husband" until he got his hands on Terri's malpractice award. Then, he remembered she wanted him to make sure she died. Yesterday I heard Rep. Weldon on some talk radio show talking about this. He is also an MD. He said one of the things that struck him as odd about Michael Schiavo (and it ought to strike everyone as peculiar) was that in his practice of medicine, when the MD initially gives the husband, family, relative the probable diagnosis that things do not look good, and what will be needed to keep the person alive, that is when the husband says my wife would not want that feeding tube, respirator, etc.; he doesn't remember that later after he sues and gets the $.
Actually, the last time the tube was removed, Terri's priest was not allowed entrance as it was said she'd choke on the Host if given Last Rites. I'll try to find a link for that.
Actually, court testimony from nurses say that Terri "speaks" and moves her eyes and head whether there is someone in the room with her or not.
Fixed.
How do you think they will cash in when Michael is the one who is in charge of her estate? When they make that movie and write that book, HE is the one who will profit from the sale of the rights to her story. If there is an insurance policy, who do you suppose will get that money when she's gone?
Thank you!
Hildy -- it's been moved back.
Welcome ;)
I know that last rites were administered yesterday; I don't think last rites always involve a host as so often patients are not in any condition to receive the host.
No, others did as well,
Yes. His brother and sister in law.
We are a nation gone mad when we equate food with "life support".
The first several years, there is no disputing that Michael did everything he could to help Terri. Maybe, just maybe, he realized, because unlike any of you, he sees her everyday, she's not going to recover. It's then, after exhausting all the avenues, that he decides to let her go. Well, that just makes too much sense for some of you.
Some of the accusations being flung about have been totally out of line.
This has not been FR's finest hour.
It's not a lie that Terri's mother, father and family are being forced to watch their daughter being killed.
And a friend of hers.
Please direct me to someplace where I can read about all these claims you have made. Thank you.
Thank you!
I tried to respond for a while and the thread wasn't letting me post for a few minutes. I think it's while it was being moved out of Chat.
Now I've forgotten what I was going to mention. Aaargh
Michael hasn't make any money from this and there's no money to speak of left. I don't know how many times that has to be stated before some of you stop posting lies.
