That said, I begin with the most explosive allegation:

Did Michael try to kill Terri?

Wolfson's report states that in the four years after her collapse, Michael "had insistently held to the premise that Theresa could recover and the evidence is incontrovertible that he gave his heart and soul to her treatment and care . . . In late autumn of 1990, following months of therapy and testing and formal diagnoses of persistent vegetative state with no evidence of improvement, Michael took Theresa to California, where she received an experimental thalamic stimulator implant in her brain. Michael remained in California caring for Theresa during a period of several months."

Says Wolfson now: "Michael was adoring of her. One nursing home complained he was hostile and abusive of the staff in championing her care. She was immaculately kept. In 13 years, she never had one bedsore."

The only people who have said she had a heart attack were reporter who misstated the facts.

She had a cardiac arrest due to electrolyte deficiency.

Not a heart attack, but it is a very common error to make by laymen in the media and public.

I have said that in absense of signed consent, she should be released to her parents, providing they take care of her in their home, with their money and what's left of the settlement.

Yes, I believe I have seen you state that at least twice. Michael won't allow that, regardless to our speculations about his reasons.

Aug - Terri awarded $250,000 in malpractice settlement.

Nov - Terri awarded $1.4 million in malpractice trial.

Nov - Michael Schiavo awarded $600,000 in malpractice trial.

1993

Feb - Michael Schiavo denies recommended rehabilitation treatment.

Feb - Schiavo and Terri's parents have falling out regarding lack of therapy for Terri.

Feb - Schiavo withholds medical information from Terri's parents.

Feb - Schiavo posts Do not Resuscitate order in Terri's medical chart.


To me, from this timeline of events it sure looks like Schiavo saw money and became the Enemy. Was he concerned about the windfall being drained by long term costly medical bills and figures to cut it short?

The CT is accurate, it just cant tell you whether what is left is comprised of living neurons, or the gliotic tissue that holds them together.


As for "can't wait"... are they going to remove it? I sure do wish they would, or at least give her another trial of therapy and re-evaluation. I don't like doing what they're doing with people unsure of her status.

One persons opinion. Legal scholars I've seen on TV, and court opinions I've read, have shown that Micheal Schiavo has done everything within reason up to and including today. Jonathan Turley said yesterday on Special Report, the only thing that he saw that should have been done was Terri filing a Living Will. He said that he has been down this road with his father who passed away 2 weeks ago. They got everything down in writing. This, even to a layman like myself, is the biggest thing wrong with this case. We're all assuming everyone wants this or that, but without a written Will, that's all that can be done; fight, bicker, and assume.

Michael Shiavo has very likely preplanned all the funeral costs, just as I would have, and have in my own case.

I said this was unfounded, and unproven, and I was wrong.

The judge already (already?) set aside the money to pay for Terri's cremation, out of her rehabilitation money.

Probably read the court records, looked at the words of experts, knows that the lawsuit for malpractice regarding her bulimic condition which resulted in her current state was settled by agreement of the parties, read the testimony of the various radiologist who did lab work on her and testimony from physical therapist.

What do you have to the contrary?
