What drives them? Under the cloak of "judicial review" unspoken tyranny has been inflicted on this land. Legal abortion is a blight on the landscape. It takes no law school graduation to know that killing the innocent - non-terminal, non-vegetative folks with no written directives - is wrong. A child knows this. Our laws and constituion, portions of which other FReepers have diligently posted, appear to reflect this.

I agree, what we do with our bodies is answerable to God, not government. If I was in a vegetative state I would like the plug to be pulled and my body donated to research. I'll answer to God for it, not whatever political party happens to be taking up empty space in Washington.
