Mr. President, please find those jack-booted thugs that found Elian Gonzales. They have another mission. Elian was not a citizen of the USA. He was a citizen of Cuba. Aliens are not under state law. They are under Federal law.
If the executive branch could pick up a citizen with out a court order, then a President Hillary could pick you up with out court order and give you a cell shared with a 300 lb serial killer named bubba who is looking for a new b*tch. All they need is for a Bush to set the president.
The last president to defy the courts was Richard Nixon. It is not an advisable practice.

Given a Fort Sumter situation, the President doesn't need a court order to respond to the situation. Seems to me "W" has all the material he needs to justify picking up this Greer fellow and tossing him in the clink.
Same goes for his fellow conspirators.
