Still she has a family that wants to take care of her. What is your argument against that?
Also do you really feel that being starved to death is a humane way to die? Would you want a loved one of yours treated like that?
Starving to her to death will take anywhere from 8 days to two weeks. If your in favor of assisted murder, which this is, it certainly isn't assisted suicide, why not just give a lethal injection and have it over with.
Just how do you want to handle this situation?
Also lets not forget Michael Schiavo has certainly gotten on with his life with a girl friend and two kids he has had by her so why should he care if Terri's family wants to take care of her?
As I have said this has more questions than answers and there is also many questions as to how she got is this state to begin with.
But the bottom line is that you seem to approve of state assisted murder in cases like this and also approve of starvation as the mode of choice. May the Lord have Mercy on You.

I didn't know Mrs. Schiavo, unlike so many personal friends of hers here who call her "Terri"... so I can't say whether she would prefer a lethal injection.

For myself, I would. I think that it's cruel that the state requires such a barbaric way to go. But maybe that's what fits more with Mrs. Schiavo philosophical alignment.

You seem to think that a person cannot go on with life and still care about someone. By your reasoning, why would a widower still care about his dead wife's grave being desecrated if he remarries and has children.

You have some really twisted and bizarre views. I know that if I had a spouse who lived while I was in Mrs. Schiavo's condition, I would want her to live her life while still fighting for my rights, preferably a lethal injection, but at a minimum palliative care and withdrawl of nutrition/hydration under extreme sedation.
