A mentally disabled woman whose court ordered starvation-execution began Friday attempted to contradict her estranged husband's claim that she wants to die hours before her feeding tube was disconnected, an eyewitness is claiming.
Barbara Weller, an attorney for Terri Schiavo's parents, told reporters Friday afternoon that during her visit earlier in the day she told Ms. Schiavo:
"Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' - all of this will be over."
According to pro-life activist Randall Terry, who recounted the scene to radio host Sean Hannity, Schiavo tried desperately to repeat Weller's words.
"'I waaaaannt . . .' Schiavo allegedly said, in a prolonged yell that had police stationed nearby running into her hospice room.
"She just started yelling, 'I waaaannt, I waaaannt,'" Terry said, according to Weller's account.
At that point police ejected Weller, he said.
Who says the children are responsible? But they are bastards in the original sense of the term, not the new sense which means someone who chooses to act like an ass.
It might not have been Terri but Barbara Weller. It doesn’t mention any neutral observers.
Since a huge majority of those who actually research (and have been doing so for five years) this case believe the law is being misused to support the hidden agendas of Greer,Michael, and Felos, while ignoring God's decision that Terri would continue living although severely disabled, should make you wonder why SO MANY (and many are medical professionals) think you are wrong.
You know, the fact you insist you are so darn absolutely right is very telling.
I and others who have decided what the truth seems to be on this case admit that there is a possibility we could be wrong. That we would hate to find out we were.

That is his medical opinion and what he was asked to testify about.
That is putz in the story, and the court ignored him accordingly.

Everyone attached to this case on the Shiavo side has been demonized.
Yes, all the Christian, God-fearing people who believe it is TORTURE to starve and dehydrate any human being, no matter what legalistic run around a lawyer can finagle are all POSSESSED BY DEMONS.
Matter of fact, why don't we have the judge rule that EVERYONE that has any disability be starved and dehydrated until dead, as long as they can't prove they don't want to be?

So when did you 'judge' Terri to be UNCONSCIOUS? When did you 'judge' that Michael is telling the truth, and that Dr. Gambone,Several other doctors, her parents, nurses who worked at the Hospice taking care of Terri, ALL LIED?
So, why not divorce her, or at least give guardianship to her parents and walk away SCOTT FREE?
I forget who in this forum wrote it, but someone wrote something to the effect that even thinking thoughts of support for actions leading to her death condemns them with God. Well, if this is the case, then isn't your inaction condemned by God? Aren't you letting Him down?
Let's assume for a second that there are at least two million people in this country who support Terri's right to live. Certainly there are at least 200 million out there, but we'll stick with 2 million for this point. If two million peeps could find the dedication to their principles to take the day/week off and spend the money to get to Floriduh and protest (peacefully), it is quite likely to have some significant effect on the outcome. The more the better, but my guess it's far easier for you preachers to sit behind your computer and browse these forums than it is to actually do something constructive about your convictions.
I'm clear on my position about it. I support her right to life, but know that the issue is not important enough to me personally, to take the course of action indicated above. But I'm not sitting here preaching about pray this pray that. I'd say God has left this one up to Man. So man, stop talking and go do something about it.

So, if true that Terri spoke some words in response to being told she was going to be put to death, then it would be YOUR uninformed DOUBT against the FACT TERRI SPOKE.

I'm astonished a court would do this especially in light of the circumstances.
So why don't all of you adamant supporters of Terri, who are so vigorously espousing a "do something now, before it's too late" policy, going down to Florida to stop the madness?

Terri left no living will and there is no proof that she would have wanted to die this way. And to have a Michael Schiavo as your guardian is outrageous - all those nasty things he has done to Terri and her family that were meant just to hurt her and his conflict of interest.
Government boys had no trouble removing the Ten Commandments display and the judge who displayed them in court, but so far nothing has been done to prevent this killing.

We are a nation of around 300 million peeps. Certainly 2 million, less than 1%, could find a way to go down there if the actually felt as strongly as it sounds in here.

Sorry if it sounded like condemnation. That was unintentional and not the point. Clearly though, God has left this one up to Man to take care of himself. Otherwise you could sit back, leave it alone, and feel comfortable with the belief that whatever way it goes, it was the will of God. Then why bother doing anything, ever. The point is that praying alone, isn't the answer. Isn't there a saying like 'God helps those who help themselves'.
