A spokesperson for Michael Schiavo says Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed Friday with Michael in attendance.
He says a prayer service was held first, and that Michael was emotional and crying, saying he wanted to put the situation behind him.
Terri Schiavo's parents, the Schindlers, visited with Terri Friday morning, prior to the tube's removal.
Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court Judge George Greer denied two U.S. House of Representative emergency motions Friday, which allowed the tube's removal.
The first motion was to intervene in the case for the House Committee on Government Reform and the second motion was to push the date back nine days so it could conduct what it calls a field investigation concerning the healthcare of Schiavo.
A neurologist appeared at Terri Schiavo's Pinellas Park hospice center Friday with a TV screen to show video of patients he treated that were in worse condition than Schiavo and got better.

There are some delusional women out there though. Consider that Scott Peterson has had dozens of marriage proposals and counting. There are women who would give their right arms to marry him.
I know. Years of political correctness, lazy rules and laws, kids in charge, parents never home, disrespect for law and order, disrespect for babies in the womb have all brought us to where we are today. Why would we expect anyone to come to the aid of Terri Schiavo when we actually wait until a baby's head enters the world and then we suck out the brains? Why would anyone think unplugging a feeding tube such a big deal. Babies are murdered every single day and...by their mothers to boot. Children are abused. Perverts assault children and walk free. It's all sick, sick, sick.
The world is going to pay for acts like these. Those who read this may laugh and that is their right but...wait. Just wait. The day is coming and these acts will be punished beyond belief and I for one will rejoice.
It is a despicable way to kill someone. Simply abhorrent.

Today on the radio Phil Hendry did an interview over the phone with Scott Peterson. Did you hear it?

BTW, it takes up to two weeks for a person to be starved to death. It is a painful death by dehydration, as their kidneys and then other organs slowly shut down...

For more than 10 years, Michael Schiavo has said that his neurologically impaired wife, Terri Schinder-Schiavo would not want to be kept alive by artificial life support.
On Friday afternoon, less than a hour after probate court judge George W. Greer ignored federal subpoenas and ordered that Michael Schiavo remove the feeding tube from Terri which will cause her death by starvation, Terri Schiavo before multiple witnesses indicated that she wanted to live.
According to attorney Barbara Weller, one of the attorneys representing Terri’s parents, Mary and Bob Schindler Sr., when her parents and attorneys visited Terri at the Woodside Hospice where she resides to tell her they were going to remove her feeding tube, Terri began to cry and tried to say “I want to live”
Attorney Weller said she had a difficult time calming Terri down.
Greer, Schiavo and his attorney, George Felos, have consistently maintained that Terri is in a persistent vegetative state and is not cognizant or alert.
The actions by Terri Friday afternoon clearly indicate that that is not true.

He dropped a bombshell. He told Phil on live radio that it was some actor "Matthew Lawrence" and Robert Blake that actually did the killing. He (Scott) only hired them to do it.
Well then, Michael only hired Felos to do it and Greer agreed with them.

No. We decided that we would gain liberty or die trying. Frankly, you must accept that there are certain psychological liberties that God has withheld and, contrary to your implication, Patrick Henry wasn't expressing anything tantamount to suicide or euthanasia. Asserting, "I will win liberty or I will die trying" is a psychological world apart from, "If I cannot be free I will kill myself." The former, in the context of the Revolution as you framed it, is a noble expression of comittment to a great moral work. The latter; an immature and selfish threat.
Wishing to be done with this life is one thing. Even St. Paul expressed that, and there is no sin or shame in it. What fool wouldn't rather be absent from this sphere and present in an eternal home like that to which St. Paul looked forward?? But you fail to note this: even if there had been NO ministry remaining for him to complete, St. Paul wasn't about to go out and fall on a sword, and THAT is the crux of the matter.
We must recognize that there is a great difference between expressing the desire to go on to the next life and taking direct action to get there. In the former case, we simply express our recognition that something better awaits and that we would much rather be there than here (granting that all applicable prerequisites are met, of course), but in the latter case, we presume to usurp the authority of the Author of Life Himself. No sane man of Scripture can righteously argue in favor of that! Go read Ezekiel 28 and Daniel 4. Read what befalls those who become overfull of themselves and begin to fancy themselves gods. We cannot presume to that position, either for ourselves or for anyone else.
Yanking the feeding tube on Terri Schiavo imposes an horribly tortuous end upon an intrinsically valuable, innocent human being. It is man usurping the authority of God, and it is utterly damnable; the quintessence of the death-cult society we now inhabit; the sinister acme of an insidious mindframe of Evil that entices, seduces, and kills.
And we entertain it at the price of our own doom.
I know that. amazing huh? There are some really neat guys, men out there that would make excellent boyfriends, husbands and fathers and yet there are women out there who would want pond scum like peterson. Go figure. they know he has been given the death sentence because they found him guilty of the cold blooded murder of his pregnant wife and their unborn child. Yet, they would want him? wonder what they are like. Wow.
I damn them from the top of their pointy heads to the tips of their stinking toes.
