"...Is he in hiding???..."
If he isn't, he should be. The murdering POS as well as the HINO.
No that wouldn't be usual. If a port is there and the feeding tube is removed, that would allow gastric contents to leak out of her stomach onto her skin continually. She would dehydrate quickly. The tube is just a tube with flanges and once it's removed, it has to be surgically replaced after a couple of days. This depends on how fast her stoma "hole" into her stomach closes.
You can say that again...Not over by a long shot...these things have a way of working out in God's Plan.
The Florida judge has ordered the murder of a Congressional witness prior to her testifying!!!
If you or I tampered with or ordered a procedure to be implemented that would result in the death of a witness, how long do you think we would be allowed to walk the streets?
I think all the people that are so gung ho to do this to Terry should try it on themselves first! Then after they're gone so is the problem.
I have read that Terri can swallow her own saliva.
Can anyone enlighten me as to whether oral fluids and feeding have been disallowed by the courts?
You are right - a feeding tube is not horrible - it is a necessity in many cases. Premature babies are fed through feeding tubes, sometimes for YEARS and grow up to be fine.
I just finished reading "Men in Black". Mark Levine does a very good job of illustrating the answer to this kind of question. In short, the judiciary has progressively overstepped its constitutional authority further and further throughout our nation's history.
~~Amen~~
THANK YOU for that term. That's a pretty common thread in those who want to kill this very special, and very loved, woman.
Since you haven't been here very long, perhaps you're unfamiliar with our little rule about no personal attacks.
Sandy was one of the first people through the door at FR; you may not agree with her, but she's a very respected poster here.
She's entitled to her OPINION, even if you don't like it.
Yes, it's my understanding that the family asked if they could offer oral hydration and nutrition and the judge denied their request.
I'd like to see the "legal reasoning" for that ruling. POS.

I showed you an example of a little girl who (GASP) "lived on a feeding tube" for 7 years. The worst thing about that case is not the feeding tube, but the fact that (in her case) it was unnecessary.
I think Terri is a little different case than the 7 year old girl
Carolyn
I wouldn't want to die. Word is Terri doesn't either.
Yes. I would extend that thought to abortion as well.
When Schiavo trembles in existential fear, he may realize the enormity of what he has done. His partners in crime, Felos and Greer, will be laughing then...for a while anyway.
OK I'll rephrase it. I wouldn't want to live my life subject to other peoples whims of keeping me alive via a feeding tube or pulling it and letting me starve. Obviously there are other issues at work here. My life has to fall within certain parameters or else it isn't worth living.
