Refusing medical treatment is not euthanasia.
Using a feeding tube to receive artifical nutrients and water is a medical procedure. The courts have found "clear and convincing evidence" that Terri does not want to live like a house plant.
I went to school with a Christian Scientist guy who died after refusing medical treatment for his ailment. That was not euthanasia, not here in Florida, not anywhere in the US.

The courts have found "clear and convincing evidence" that Terri does not want to live like a house plant. Then why did she cry, when told by an attorney, what was about to happen to her?

If you keep watering a dead house plant it will just wither away and die. No matter how much food and water it gets.
