If all hope is lost and the feeding tube is to remain out, give her a lethal injection. I can't imagine starving to death while a bunch of people just sit around watching me. Sounds like Auchwitz.

It's almost beyond imagining that we are witnessing this. So how is this supposed to work? They pull the tube, turn off the lights and shut the door, then come back 10 days later to collect the body? I mean, seriously, how is this supposed to play out? Do they expect the hospital staff to "comfort" her while they watch her body shrivel and eyes sink from lack of fluids? How nice.... "Don't worry, Terri, I'll hold your hand while your major organs shut down one by one... oh excuse me for a moment, dear, I'm just going to the vending machine for a diet Coke..."
