It appears to have been a sham marriage for a while now, given his affairs and current long-term cohabitation with a mistress with whom he has fathered 2 children. I think there are legitimate questions about whether he has had her best interests in mind over the last several years.
It is a royal mess. Hopefully this will spur many to think through how these issues could affect their own lives and those they love, and sit down and make plans for what could happen. If a living will is what someone wants, they need to draw it up ASAP, not put it off.
