Per front page of Drudge
**Exclusive Fri Mar 18 2005 00:50:07 ET** The Chairman of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee, Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) has requested Terri Schiavo to testify before his congressional committee, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. In so doing it triggers legal or statutory protections for the witness, among those protections is that nothing can be done to cause harm or death to this individual.
I'd like to see MS behind bars after Terri is released to her family.
Keep praying everyone! We're doing a fine job!!!
Terri DID have sepsis at one time, and Michael Schaivo ORDERED the hospice to WITHHOLD ANTI-BIOTICS. They told him that would lead to her death....he didn't care. He told them to WITHHOLD ANTI-BIOTICS. They said they could not do that, that would be a criminal act.
If you think it is appropriate, could you ping the list again to follow through on this suggesttion:
Call yur congressman NOW to recommend the following:
In order to demonstrate that this is not frivolous, have Terri hooked up to appropriate neuro monitoring devices and ask her if she wants to die. If she can't respond to language, bring in her parents and Mr. Schaivo and see how she responds to them.
In other words ASK TERRI!
I'm encouraged by what Leathernect_MT said; "Marshals can be sent to "arrest" Terri if she fails to show."
Get Frist to examine her.
Thats terrible! I hope that man ends up behind bars.
I don't get all the Mike bashing. I agree that starvation is an awful way to die but for all we know, he's telling the truth.
Telling the truth about what?
That she requested not to be kept alive if she ever ended up in a state like this.
First of all, Mike is with another woman and has 2 children by her. This is not the act of a loving husband. It's the act of a selfish man. He does not have the best interest of Terri at heart! You obviously don't know much about the details over the last 15 years.
There have to be other issues in play here.........some other reason they think Terri should be brutally murdered. Either that, or total ignorance of the case.
"She needs Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy among other things."
Nope, she needs to get back with "Dr." Joe Champion, the dolphin mental telepathy expert and part-time alchemist. Her father says they were working together for months and made great progress !
I misspoke.......sorry.
Terry had a URINARY TRACT INFECTION, which Michael Schaivo was told by the hospice would LEAD TO SEPSIS and she would die if not given treated. Michael Schaivo still ORDERED the withholding of anti-biotics.
Even if she DID say it, it's no reason by any stretch of logic or decency, to subject her to a long and torturous death by starvation.
Check out the facts about what Michael has done and not done, and you'll understand why the 'bashing.'
"Also, Schiavo "remembered" that she didn't want to be kept alive AFTER he got the cool million for her care."
According to Terrisfight.org the "cool million" is gone, wonder why he didn't take the new "cool million" offer ?
Now... this is not a joke, is it?
Someone freepmail me that story of the woman who was in a "persistent vegetative state" while her hubby (a physician) consulted with other doctors in front of her how to kill her. She could hear him and even evntually could write letter in the air with her finger, but they kept 'sedating' her when she would do that, even though she was spelling words. Eventually the NURSES noticed, and they were instrumental in barring the doctors' intended actions. It's a GREAT story and needs to get out to all the news outlets.
Cyrano where's that story you were reading me last night?
Thank you. Well said. I just can't believe the number of Freepers who want this woman to suffer this kind of death. Some days, it's painful to read these threads.
