I am beginning to think that DeLay will have to recess the House before 12:01 and postpone the vote until 8 a.m. or so. There are not enough Republicans in town to prevail unless they are not taking part in the exchange.
What makes you think that? Seems there is a lot of Republicans at the House tonight!
However, in any event, I doubt if our President would have flown into the capital unless the votes were counted and in the bag.
Even GW's immediate presence in Washington is enough to influence some wobbly Pubbie votes. Thank God he's our president at this moment in history.
